This stuff is amazing. I dust my chicken and duck coops with it every week, as well as their dust baths and nesting boxes. I have a small farm in rural Texas and we get serious flies. This repels them and keeps the sour odors down. That herbal spice stuff is great for city chickens, but out here it doesn't do dittily squat. I like that its organic and doesn't harm the environment. I also use the wood shaving substrate in my compost pile so the PH tends to balance out the acidity of the wood. ... show more

I love using Saturday lime for my chicken coop. My chickens mainly free range, but of course, they go into their coop in the evenings. The lime gives it a fresh, clean smell, keeps the mites away, and repels other animals. I 100% recommend it.
