This is a beautiful ottoman. BUT the fabric is mega cheap. When I twisted on the legs the faux leather fabric would flake off at the corner where the faux leather stops underneath. I wouldn’t dare let anyone wear shoes while using as a foot rest because it will probably rip and flake. Yes I’m going to keep it, this is the exact size I need and will serve it’s purpose as a foot rest. I hope it proves me wrong and lasts longer than I think it will. On the bright side if it does flake and fail me. I will find some black marine vinyl on sale and recover it to look new and improved. ... show more

We are using this in front of a sofa in our family room, as a combo ottoman/coffee table. We have put a small butler's tray in the center to hold drink glasses and snacks. The sofa is a fold-out guest bed, so we needed something light enough to move out of the way if needed. The ottoman was easy to put together, with no major problems in fit or finish. Lots of storage for four pillows and a light blanket, and sturdy enough for our purposes. Note that it is a couple feet narrower than the sofa (queen size as a sleeper). Also note that our plan of use is relatively light duty. I don't know how this would hold up to being sat upon multiple times per day by a heavier adult every day while dressing, or being jumped upon by kids. ... show more

Really like the look of this; we will see how durable it is. Comes as is, only the feet are needing to be screwed in. So easy assembly, right? No. They just didn't put the plastic bag of feet inside the bench; they tied the bag with a cloth rope that was attached deep into the interior lining seam. Impossible to get out! Never seen this before. Tried a cutter and scissors and even being very careful, the thin interior lining got ripped. An Ikea assembly would have been less frustrating. Way overkill and not considerate of end user, causing me to start with a ruined interior before I could even use it. ... show more
