  • Great price on these tires !
Great price on these tires for my SUV

  • Good tires, poor delivery
Tires were purchased for a 2015 Nissan Frontier. Handling is good, very little tire noise. Looks good. Installation was done through Mavis Tire. Very satisfied with Mavis. Subtracted a star due to Amazon's failure to deliver on time. Had to rearrange install appointment several times due to late delivery. ... show more

  • A lot to be desired in wet
Bought these for my 2002 Tacoma. Older truck like mine that doesn't have Traction Control or ABS, tires have a higher level of importance. These are okay. Just that -- okay. Like most HT tires, my MPG did benefit & there isn't TOO much road noise, though that can probably be attributed to my truck not having much insulation. The cons, though: They're decent on wet highways where water doesn't pile up too much & the direction & speed are consistent, but in city driving? It can get bad. At times, my rear wheels are spinning & I'm feather-footing the pedal. Going over bumpy roads in the wet? BIG-TIME weakness. My truck skids almost as if it's jumping ahead in the road rather than riding on the tires. Gravel roads? BIG-TIME weakness. It's like they slide right over the surface. I don't know what's up with Firestone lately, it seems the couple of years haven't been nice to their QC. These tires aren't bad for someone on a budget, but plan to use them as a holdover while you save up the finances to get you some Continentals or Michellins (or even Goodyear if their quality is still up to par). ... show more
