I purchased this small safe to keep small valuables in for emergencies. I did not set up the digital code and only used the key. I opened the safe to place my valuables inside upon receiving the safe. The first time I opened it a few weeks later, I had a bit of trouble getting the key to turn, but managed to open it. I tried to open it again today(only the 2nd time since purchasing it) and I was unable to get the key to turn. I noticed the piece inside the home where the key goes seemed loose. I tried numerous times to get the key to work with no luck. I turned it upside down because I could hear something moving around inside it. The pieces shown in the photo above fell out of the lock! My son-in-law used a small screwdriver and easily broke the door to gain access. This thing is a piece of junk! If I could have given it 0 stars I would. Since it’s been over 30 days since I purchased it I can’t even get my money refunded. I DO NOT recommend this product. ... show more

Absolutely love this little safe!! It's very sturdy, yet very light weight. Bought this for my child's room and it's the perfect size. Plus she loves the pink color!! Definitely well worth the purchase.

It’s a cute little safe and will work for what I wanted it for, but if you are looking for something that will protect stuff from fire I’d suggest you keep looking. This is thin steel with nothing to act as insulation and it has manufactured holes in the back and bottom (for attaching it to a wall, etc.) so it isn’t even sealed all the way around. It fit’s nicely in a small space though, so maybe tossing your valuables into a small fireproof bag and then putting it in the safe would work… ... show more
