We received the ladder and looked like exactly what we wanted! However, I purchased this with the intent that it was new. The ladder we received had been used and was scratched up, it has dents and marks all over it. Disappointing to pay as much as we did to get a worn ladder.

I never used this product. Hopefully I never will need to. I have practiced unraveling the stairs which are velcro strapped for easy storage in the red bag it came with. The bag is very durable material and bright red. This escape ladder is built very sturdy and the clamps that hold onto the window frame or balcony is wide and adjusts very easily. I'd recommend anyone living on upper floors to not only purchase these but practice your escape plan with them should you need it. ... show more
