Needed a door knob like this one as a security function for a closet door. To keep the average person out so nothing major. But overall it works as intended. It's pretty durable and looks clean with the screen and the actual doorknob. Pretty self explanatory to put together, it gives you directions but you can use your previous doorknob as a guide. The battery terminal needs 4 AAAs as well. All the parts were included so nothing was missing. The lock feature with the number pad was the feature I'm using and it has a good quality sound for pressing the buttons. Touch screen works as well, no issues. Setting up the password is easy too, provided the directions are in the manual. It also has a fingerprint password that you can use. I have no problems with it as well. The doorhandle works great, The apps has some features such as autolock and ability to add more fingerprints and keypads entrys. I havent really checked the app much but i believe you can add additional ways to control the doorlock if you buy other items under that brand

I like to keep my bedroom door locked when we have a house full of teenagers. I got tired of having to tote my key around with me or stashing it somewhere and having to dig it out when I needed it. We purchased this after looking at many brands and comparing. It was very easy to switch out, it only took me a few minutes. The instructions were very easy to follow. Programming it was simple; again, the instructions were easy to follow. When programing your thumb print, make sure when you do your three taps that you moved your thumb around a bit so it reads different parts of your thumb. That way pretty much no matter how you put your thumb on it, it will read it to unlock for you. It holds 18 finger prints, so I actually ended up adding mine twice, just so I could have more angles that I could hold my thumb for unlocking. We really like the ease of using it. It is very well made. It is solid feeling. And it is stylish. I was afraid it would look bulky, and be ugly, as my prior door handle was very pretty, but it’s not bad at all. We’ve been using it for a couple months and the batteries are still going strong. I have considered another one for our front door, but I’m not entirely set on moving away from a keyed entry for our main entrance. I guess I’m just a little too old school yet. 😆 If I had other rooms inside my house that I wished to have locked, I would absolutely buy another one of these!! ... show more

Easy to install with basic hand tools (also comes with small Philips head for battery compartment) & not difficult to program. Good value for the money. Print scanner seems to work well & number pad is quite receptive to touch but not overly sensitive. I only wish the beeping could be toggled on/off. In the end, though, would buy again. ... show more

Had to replace a broken biometric knob made by GeekSmart. The battery compartment broke on that one. Contacted them and never heard back. Install was a breeze, did not need an extra set of hands like the previous knob. Design of this knob is so much better. The placement of the sensor makes opening the door more natural than the standard knob style devices. A couple negatives, more of features it should have. The auto lock feature cannot be fine tuned with time. It’s either on or off. 2 seconds and the knob re-locks. You cannot add users to this device without them having their own email and app. So to add other family members you have to add their fingerprints under the main account. Otherwise, this is a solid biometric lock for the price. No issues with connectivity and much better than the standard door knob design. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I’m using this fingerprint/smart door handle on the door to my workout room. SO glad I got this! I have 3 children, one being very young, that I do not want going into the workout room without my supervision. Due to the fact I cannot control every time they go into the basement, this door handle has given me peace of mind knowing they cannot get into that room & potentially hurting themselves playing around on the equipment. It was easy to install, easy to set up and I love the fact that you can set multiple fingerprints to access the door. If for some reason the fingerprint doesn’t work (I have not experienced that), there is also an option to set a passcode, as there is a keypad on the handle that lights up. I purchased this lock to replace my previous smart lock that only supports fingerprint. This lock works very well, the fingerprint works all the time, and I like it that I can use both a passcode and the physical key as two backup methods to get in. The overall quality feels very good as well.

The media could not be loaded. Easy set up.. There's a short video on how to set it up, install and it's pretty straight forward. Read the manual on how to set up codes and fingerprints. It works just fine. You might want to set up multiple fingerprints for each finger.. Since this thing can store 100 fingerprints, to get an accurate reading, set fingerprint for the tip, side, main prints to get a good reading.. If your finger is cold, dusty, dirty, it won't read it... That's why it's important to set the codes and always carry the key if you must.. There's also USB charge for backup... The seller told me it uses USB type C, and I believe you can charge it up with any device that has a USB charging port to give it power if the battery is dead.. Fingerprint reader reads fast, and I am happy.. It's also a better looking door handle than most.. So far so good.. Only time will tell how long this thing will hold up. ... show more
