This item is machine washable, but it does clunk around, so be sure to level it out as best as possible. Stains are very easy to remove as it isn’t too thick, and the material takes well to cleaning products. It doesn’t slip around on my tile floor, luckily, as I haven’t purchased any under rug security. If you do come running a crossed it and it isn’t secured down, I’m positive it will slide. Keep that in mind with kiddos who like to run around the house. The pattern is very pretty to me. Has some wearing which I personally like as long as the rest of the house decor is neat looking and not rustic. It does come folded, as they typically do, so be mindful to get the creases out! ... show more

Decided that we needed another area rug for our family room entryway. Looking for one that wouldn't require a ton of maintenance, but one that could be tossed in with the laundry and cleaned more frequently. I ran into this area rug, and the first thing that gained my attention was the fact that this rug was such a brilliant blue. The colors are so vibrant and deep, perfect for the entrance to the family room. With this deep blue, the snow and mud wouldn't be obvious right away. I chose the 3x 5 and the size is exactly what I had planned. The rug lays nicely on our floor. The rug was secure to the floor and as some rugs will curl up on the ends, this is not the case with this area rug. The quality is excellent- the design is beautiful. It's one of those lovely pieces you'd rather not even step on, but glad it's machine washable. Makes it very practical and a functional piece that solves a problem. Here are the main reasons I decided on this area rug over some others. *Pile height: LOW PILE - did not want a rug that the door would catch as it runs over the rug *Care- machine washable- more sanitary the more you can just toss it in the wash *Non-shedding and Stain resistant- with the amount of foot traffic in this area of our home, this is keeping our floors in better condition, keeping moisture off our hardwood floors *Super soft- feels good to walk on- nice depth without being too high. A comfortable feel. *Non-slip backing- because safety is always paramount- i am confident walking on this rug without being tripped due to lack of non slip backing. This is very secure and finds more than some others. Overall, this is an excellent area rug- vibrant in color and soft in touch. Picked this area rug up from FINECASA as I needed a good solid rug for in my kitchen and this is more than I was expecting! It's just the right size for the area that I was needing and the colorful, soft feel of it is more than I was thinking it would be! Very vibrant and so comfortable to step on, even with no shoes! I know it's an aesthetic choice, but I wasn't expecting this to look quite so old and worn out, especially since it has very new-looking stitching along the edges. It is also very soft. I had a friend over and when I told him it was a new rug, even though it didn't look new, the first thing he did was touch it to see how soft it was. There are mostly just plusses for this rug: It's soft, it's easy to clean, it's a good size. got this for the living room but put this in my home office/spare bedroom while we remodeling and I love it. it makes the room look brighter and more pulled together. it has a really rough texture though so don't think this is one of those rugs you're going to let your baby crawl around on or sit in the floor and do any activities on. it might get softer after it's washed though. it's a nice size and straight out of the package laid completely flat with no rolling or turning up on the corner issues. ... show more
