The instructions are numbered on a diagram and separately in steps, although the numbers dont match up. Luckily even the most home improvement inept can figure out how to change a light fixture. I did notice this fixture calls for 40w bulbs max so pay attention when you buy the bulbs. I was having trouble finding a fixture for staging that looked like brushed metal and didn't cost me an arm and a leg since most of the rest were black, polished metal, or gold but finally found this one. ... show more
