I was skeptical at first but not anymore! These TRULY block out the heat! We don’t have AC in our apartment and we needed something to help with the heat. These 100% do that! Very easy to install (the more soapy water you use the better), easy to remove if needed. You will need a squeegee with a fabric side on it so you don’t scratch the film and an X-Acto knife for installation.

Good light blockage, privacy and heat blockage. Easy enough to install as far as tints go. I wish there was a product that allowed for privacy at night, instead this might actually make it easier to see into at night if you have lights on inside. Unfortunately, this is the way of all tints, can't make it one way glass. Cuts easily with a utility blade.

I cannot recommend this film enough, a bit pricey but worth every penny, my bedroom is a west facing window gets so much sun turns the room almost unbearable ever since I put the window film on using the black reflective tint color, my air doesn't turn on anymore it's about a 80 to 90° outside and the inside is only 80 at 5:00 and it already starts to drop temperature at that time This is so stupidly easy to put on pick up one of those rectangle flat vinyl squeegees with felt on one end, will help greatly, clean windows if you have grease or anything pick up a jar of the pink stuff cleaning product works wonders on glass was able to take off tape glue residue very easily another product I can't recommend enough because it actually works Dawn soap with water spray it on squeegee it out and an exacto knife and a steady hand and some time and patience Purchase this product you'll never regret anyone with a room facing west with a lot of sun coming in this is necessary save some money from the power company

Very easy to use, definitely have a squeegee, razor knife and bottle of soapy water in a spray bottle to apply. Edges were very straight so it was easy to line up on the widow. Looks really good from both the inside and outside. During the daytime the outside is mirrored, I can't see through it. Great thickness, I could pull on it while applying without worrying about it ripping. Will definitely buy again. Renter friendly, good durability and quality.

First time applying tint to a window. I felt it was easy to apply for a tint. I like that its not sticky and I applied it with a solution of soapy water and that worked perfectly. From the inside, my windows look tinted. From the outside, its a mirror reflection and you cannot see in, which is what I was seeking. Very inexpensive and I am purchasing more to do more windows.

Background: My house is a new build. I have lots of neighbors super close to me. My home office has the main window right next to the front door. It is a bad design, in my opinion. I am annoyed that people are always way too comfortable just looking through my window (delivery drivers dropping off packages, random solicitors (even though I have a No Solicitors sign), random people knocking on my door, My kid's friends coming over, My family LOL. I think it is so rude to look inside. It's my office, so I spend most of my day in this room. I have shutters, but I want sunlight! I have researched different Amazon brands of "privacy film." I finally made the purchase. I mean. It's okay. I completed one-half of my window. I did it at night. I thought I did a good job. I followed the directions (see my pictures). I can see a haziness to it. I don't like that it is not more clear. I feel like I need to pull off another layer to get rid of the haze. But I kept looking at the directions and practiced on a couple of my excess pieces to see if there was a second layer to pull off. You know when you put a clear protective layer on your phone to protect it from breaking, it has the bottom layer that sticks to the phone, and you smooth it out, and when finished, you pull off the top layer, and it reveals a clear, clean, crisp layer of protection. I feel like this product does not offer a transparent and clean solution. I mean, it works. My goal is to obtain privacy, and I want it to look good. I took a lot of pictures to show the before and after results on my window. I only did one side. Maybe I will have better luck on my second attempt. I will post an update if I learn anything new.

After reading some of the negative reviews, I was hesitant. I can now say they installed them wrong. It's very important to clean your windows prior too. Once I got them, I YouTubed how too videos and I glad I did. I made sure I installed them right and They work great in this AZ heat. Definitely makes a difference with temperature and daytime privacy. I have one bedroom that faces the sun in the afternoon and or gets really hot in that room. After putting up the tint along with new curtains, it Definitely dropped the temp down.
