  • Works great on year 2
Color: Blue
I have had this for a year now. The first year it worked great, one issue with a wrinkle in the pool liner stopped it. I removed the front guide roller and that resolved the issue. I stored it inside and charged for winter. maybe 3 months un used. This year when i pulled it out I charged it full, at least the light was green on the charger. It only ran for about 15 min and stopped. I messaged seller and after a few troubleshooting steps they sent me a new battery. I am up and running again. This thing sucks up pecans and leaves from the neighbors tree. Any sand or dirt it picks up well. I was worried about corrosion due to I run a salt pool, but on year 2 now and no signs of rust or decay of parts. Also a plus, the jets help to mix up salt or and powders that sink to the bottom. ... show more

  • Great Little Robot for the Price
Color: Blue
The media could not be loaded. Update: We've had this cleaner for a year and it is still going strong! This is by far the best vacuum we have tried (and we've tried many). Not only does it clean up small debris like pine needles and sand, it also does a great job with leaves. The run time for our unit is about 90 minutes and it does take 4-5 hours to charge, but it does such a good job with no real effort that this is not an issue for me. Toss it in the pool before or after work, charge it overnight. This robot is great for our above ground pool! This spring I had a big mess of sand from our old filter and tons of pine needles. I did not want to vacuum this into my new DE filter and so I decided to give a cheaper robot a try. Holy cow, this thing picks up a ton! After running the robot three times it had cleared about 95% of the mess. After the initial cleanup, we run it a few times a week and I manually vacuum once a week to get anything the robot has missed. My pool has never looked better! This vacuum isnt going to do a perfect job, but it will get the majority of the mess. It does a great job with pine needles and pollen on the pool floor. Worth every penny! ... show more

  • Not reliable! Stay Away
Color: Blue
I have had this unit for about a year. It worked overall, was able to sweep up small amounts of leaves and debris on the bottom of the pool. The unit struggled with the two flat drains in the bottom of the pool. I overlooked this, as it was able to get most of the cleaning. If you are looking for something to get the algae on the bottom of the pool, look elsewhere. this is not a scrubbing unit, but merely has a brush on the bottom of the unit that will drag along the bottom, but does not provide enough pressure to dislodge algae to filter this out. Now after about a year of work, the unit will no longer charge. For the cost, this unit is not reliable and stops functioning after one year. ... show more

  • Read reviews and specs carefully!
Color: Blue
I’ve had this for 5 days now and was on the fence about keeping it. I did not see the part about not going up in lines greater than 15 degrees until I read the manual and I figured with my in ground pool that would be a deal breaker. Don’t be like me, read the specs and reviews before you buy. My pool is screened and we don’t generally deal with leaves or debris. The last hurricane damaged my screen and I’m still waiting on a contractor to repair it. My husband is working out of state and my vacuum hose broke. The kids wanted me to get the pool ready for summer and I found this vacuum while shopping for a replacement vacuum hose. It was easy to put together - but I did have to come here and find another review to figure out how to install the brush because directions seem to indicate you attach it to a wheel? Weird. I charged it easily enough (the charging light is on the plug and it turns green when ready) and dropped it in the pool. It got stuck on a few kid toys that were in with the leaves so I let my kids get in and retrieve their toys. Once it got to the deep end, it was done and couldn’t make it back to the shallow end. It died after about 45 minutes and I charged it overnight and let it go again. It absolutely picked up leaves and debris like crazy. But it does cloud the water while working because water flow is what propels it. So when it gets to the side and the flap moves to change the direction of water flow, water shoots out towards the side of the pool and scatters debris. My last 2 photos are of it running at night and making the water cloudy. (I have a salt water pool and the light makes it look green, but it’s spot on chemical wise and blue during the day.) The suction seems powerful, but it is not powerful enough to get the leaves off the drain in the deep end. My daughter dives down and gets the leaves, but then the water spout from the vacuum scatters a few leaves and they attach to the drain again. I’d say it’s gotten 80% of the leaves in the deep end, though. Definitely better than what I was doing with a net in the absence of having a vacuum hose. What I have found out over the past 5 daily runs is that it is powerful enough to go up the incline from deep end to shallow end ONLY IF my kids aren’t in the water churning it up. The kids moving water makes too much resistance and the flapper falls back almost at the top of the hill. With no kids to create resistance, it slows a bit going uphill, but makes it. There’s a V in the shallow end that it seems to miss all the time regardless of how much or little I turn the angle knobs, but I can forgive it if that - and one day it may hit it just right. I also realize I’m asking more of this vacuum than daily maintenance right now. The bottom line that it does a good job of vacuuming and when the debris it churns up settles overnight, it’s ready to get more the next day. At this price point, I won’t say it’s a fair comparison to an $800 Polaris, but I think it’s performing better than I expected. I don’t get any money or discounts for my review, I’m just trying to help out others. If you’re new to pool cleaning and on your own like me, hopefully this gives you some things to think about. ... show more

  • Fantastic
My brother in law told me to get this robot last year. I had a another vacuum that you used the extension pole. It was working perfectly fine. We’ve been doing it since 2021 like that. Well, since the end of summer 2022 we forgot to cover the pool. And with my husband out of town. I had so many other things to do plus hospital stuff, and not having any time to maintain the pool for winter. Just say this year has been really bad. Trying to get all the algae and the pollen out It’s been hell. And then the vacuum broke that we used. And thank goodness I went ahead and got the robot right before I found out that the vacuum broke. This robot worked fantastic as you can see in the pictures. This is the first time I’ve used it. And I still have a lot more to do. It’s gonna take more than just one time. But it did a pretty fantastic job. I am very impressed. ... show more
