I did and very happy with his recommendation. Price was very reasonable, much less than I thought a microphone would be. Delivery fast & efficient to my doorstep. Right out if box is ready to plug into usb. I like the looks and the ease of use. It’s black, and the base has a good weight to it. Should not easily slide or tip. The long gooseneck is like the ribbed pipes, easily bends and stays in place. Good height stretching ip 11 inches, to accommodate people of all sizes.. children included. The microphone has a foam covering. I like the added features on the base, including a volume dial and a mute button with a LED light indicator to visibly show when Mike is “hot” or not. We’ve used a few times and am very happy with sound quality and ease of use. The flexible neck makes it easy to adjust for comfort so you don’t have to lean in. The mute button works ok. It doesn’t grown out a loud sound like tv, but it muffles it to background so not clear and noticeable. We will enjoy experimenting more with this microphone.

Great mic at a really good price. Months of using an expensive high quality mic I needed a second for a second workstation set up. This one works much better and is MUCH cheaper… as long as it keeps working without any issues, I will be very happy with it. Specifically I like the mute button easy access and how long the flexible neck is, for the mic.

I'm a virtual online DJ and I have used this microphone for more than a month. The sound quality is so much better than the headphone mic I had been using. This gives me a more professional sound, and it's worth double the price. The small-footprint, weighted base gives you a lot of flexibility for placement and the long neck allows lots of adjustment angles. The foam on the mic helps filter ambient noise and "popping your Ps," but you'll wish it were better. I have a fan on nearby and have to move it away, as the mic picks up both its motor noise and the air blowing from it. One quirk is that the mic will always turn on upon bootup, even if you had turned it off. Not a big deal, but anyone who uses a mic prefers that it is always off until you are ready to be heard.

Computer usage works out great. People say my audio sounds great. Like the off and on indicator. Green go Red stop. Always hard to beat a electric condenser cheap mic on computers. Cheap ones work every time.

Great microphone. Far superior to the one I originally bought, which was an hours long nightmare to get it to work. This one, I just plugged it into the back of my PC, and it worked perfectly right away. No issues whatsoever. Plus it's a solid feeling, well built piece of equipment. Very happy with it.

I was pleasantly surprised how well this mic worked for the price point; compared to the built-in mic that might come with your computer or the mic in your phone, it's a HUGE upgrade, and it's simple to use! Since I'm a recording artist, I thought I'd try using the mic with some musical application (which you can see in the video I posted). For vocals, the recording quality is quite good, but because the voice is so dynamic, the volume is inconsistent, so you would need a lot of compression to make it work.
However, the acoustic guitar is not as dynamic, and just from a quick setup, I was able to get some pretty good sounds. If you took the time to record with proper room treatment and strategic mic placement, you could totally get a usable acoustic guitar recording.
If you had an “on-the-go” studio with just a laptop, headphones, and interface, this would be a very affordable addition to your set up!

After having two Antlion ModMic USB mics break the same way I bought this mic as a backup until I figured out a new solution for a gaming mic. I use headphones through an external DAC/AMP stack so I don't use a gaming headset. That said, I have always used an integrated mic that is close to my mouth since forever. Wanting to maintain that I bought the ModMic. Unfortunately that unit failed the same way twice for me. One lasted just past 2 years, the other under 1 year. Not wanting to get back into that, I was looking for a new solution. I didn't want the obnoxious boom arm connected to the desk. I wasn't sure what I was going to do. So I used this in the meantime. I was shocked at how good the sound quality was. Background noise did transmit, there's no noise cancellation. So if your use case is sensitive to that, it might not be ideal. But in my case, worst I have is a kid in the background. Not a big deal. But I will be using this $20 solution permanent. I would recommend this to anyone who games and talks to friends on Discord in a heartbeat. Save your money for a better GPU, don't spend it on a mic.
