    • So much simpler than ferrules
I was searching for a different solution than using ferrules you have to have a swage tool to use. This is definitely the solution! If you're splicing 2 pieces of poly rope or securing it to a gate break handle this is a great solution! The wing nut assembly makes a great connection and doesn't require you to have a hammer and some kind of anvil like the ferrules. You can splice 2 pieces of poly rope and make them very tight before securing the wing nut. I love these over ferrules. My poly rope no longer sags due to having to get something the same height of the electric fence and not being able to get it just the right height. ... show more

I use them mostly for electric rope that I don't want to cut and just return feed the excess to the main rope run so the excess doesn't fall to the dirt and ground out.

These work fine for electric fence rope but are a bit pricey and kind of fumbly to use. Still much cheaper than tractor supply. I have since gone to the brass bolt rope connectors purchased on Amazon. The fifty pack was around $20. Can’t beat that. Apologies, I can’t find the link.
