I have two German Shepherds who like to bite each other's collar's during play. Although not super aggressive, it's still been pretty hard on buckles and plastic clasps. I finally found this and am SUPER happy I got it. The metal buckle was a must. The padding wears well and holds up to brother's silliness. This is my 5th collar for these clowns. This affordable, sturdy and highly reflective collar arrived on time. It fits my Chihuahua perfectly and he hasn't complained about it. I would highly recommend when a buckled collar is what you need. I would purchase this again.

The Gray color is very pleasant, has a slight beige hue to it on the edges. The entire collar is double material that makes it feel very sturdy and well made. We will see how long it will last... I feel that the grommet would be the first thing giving up on this collar, but we have only been using it for a week now and so far, everything is intact. A couple of minor negatives would be that the holes for our dog are not exactly on the correct spots. I feel I need to use it a little tighter than I desire. It might be perfect for other dogs, though. The other thing is if you use this collar for the first few holes, then the end is not reaching to the rubber attachment that supposed to hold the collar, and it is just hanging under the ring for the leash, which is moving as your dog is moving and rather annoying. We have a name tag attached to the little plastic whole in the front, which is a bit oddly placed, but it is still OK. Overall, I would recommend this collar, but keep in mind that the holes are about 1" from each other and would not necessarily fit as you wish. ... show more

This is a really nice collar. My Jack Russell Terrier is only about 18 lbs and this thing fits him nicely. There is plenty of adjustment, the holes have metal grommets and it is a comfort collar (neoprene on inside of collar). Thickness and width are great. Seems sturdy as we needed a heavy duty collar for a young pup. That said, within a week one of the hole rivets bent. The sizing is off a bit. We measured and were in between sizes. One is way too large and holes aren’t even available to fit so returned, the other requires the first hole to buckle, to get snug. Really not a medium fit.
