For being a very reasonably priced generic brand collar, this has held up incredibly well. My dog wears this all day, every day, rain or shine, dirt or grass, and it still looks pretty clean after 6+ months. It has stretched out a bit, but I simply adjusted it down a notch and it was fine. I wouldn't trust the little plastic ring near the FIDA tag that I assume is for dog tags; I attach my dog's tags to one of the unused notch rings instead. The red color stands out even through my dog's long dark fur, which is great in case he ever happens to get loose. Worked excellent as my puppy's first collar. Easy to adjust as she grew, solid enough that she couldn't just slip out, and wide enough that when she ran to the end of the leash that the band didn't hurt her or cause discomfort.

By far the best collar I have bought on Amazon or local stores. The others don't compare or last. I have bought several! This collar is durable. My dog feels comfortable in it and wears well! I have an English Pointer and the blue looks great on him!

Ordered a size large for my 80 lb lab. Wanted the belt style specifically as she has jerked/pulled and broken 3 buckle-style collars in just the last two months. So far this collar is great, color is accurate to the photos and reflective, and I really like the separate tag loop. It is also nicely padded on the inside and doesn't seem to rub on her neck or pull her fur. It has also survived the jerk/pulling. There's a stretchy band that holds the access collar as well. I love this collar, it's been nothing but sturdy and durable in the face of my dog's playmate, who often shreds and destroys collars while they play. I feel a lot safer knowing that this collar won't come off or get damaged easily, in the case of my dog ever managing to get out of my yard unsupervised, I know she'll be safe while wearing this. The overall design for this collar is great as well, it isn't flimsy in the slightest, the material is strong and the softer material that's wrapped around the back of the collar is durable, yet gentle on my dogs neck, it hasn't caused her any irritation and she seems happy to be wearing it. My only real concern for this collar is the little tab that you're supposed to put their dog tags on... it seems a bit flimsy, I don't imagine it would take much to rip that off of the collar if another dog or a piece of fencing got caught on it, I just wish that it was a little sturdier. I have no real complaints for this collar though, it's sturdy, durable, and far surpasses ANY of the collars you can buy at your local pet store, that often cost more money and are made of cheaper material. This collar is a thing of beauty, absolutely worth the price it's listed at! You can't beat these prices for a collar this good, I definitely plan to come back once my dog has grown out of the collar she has now ... show more
