    • You absolutely need this if you own a Festool drill/driver.
I absolutely love this thing. Sure, Centrotec is wonderful, but this allows you to use the hundreds of hex-base bits you very likely already own. I use Centrotec where I need the additional precision, otherwise I use this adapter and use my existing hex bits. What makes it worthwhile is that the bits lock in, unlike the magnet-only BH 60 that comes with most Festool drills. If you own a Festool drill/driver, you need this adapter. ... show more

    • Yes, yes its expensive but if you are looking at this, you need it, just buy it and move on. :)
It works great. Of course it is Festool! About 90% of my bits are centrotec but sometimes you just gotta use a standard bit shank and this does the trick.

If you have a Centrotec drill, you need one of these. Festool should include one of these with every drill. Those silly magnet ones are so frustrating to use because your bit keeps coming out.

    • For Festool drills ONLY!
Make sure you have a Festool drill otherwise, it will not fit into any other brand of a drill's 1/4" drill chuck - The Hex portion is too long and will not "click" in a more pedestrian drill (which is every drill other than Festool) - it will only fit into a Festool chuck - And, therefore, it will wobble. I should have known better and the 3-star review rates my stupidity and the not-so-clear explanation - not necessarily this bit holder. Once I get one of those exorbitantly priced drills (just to see what I have been missing all my life and see if all that hoopla is justified), I will update - and, maybe I will see the light. I bought it directly from Hartville Hardware - the same price as Amazon. ... show more
