I assembled the bed by myself in about an hour or so and didn't have any difficulty. It's sturdy and I like it a lot, but my memory foam mattress is a little too low and there's a small gap. Easy fix is a box spring so I'll be getting one of those and it will be perfect! I like the charging option because I have limited wall outlets on this side of the room, and the small shelf is really handy too. This set up is very durable and sturdy! It is extremely easy to set up and the usbc and usb ports are definitely lightning fast charging units, my phone charged from 35% to 95% in 30 minutes! Perfect bed for my son, not bulky at all for small rooms, the dark gray color is perfect, easy to assemble, sturdy and the charging port on top of the headboard is great!

The upholstery and shelf are nice. It was easy to assemble, though I had a helper at points. This is the least robust bedframe I've ever owned, no lie. It's not junk, but the frame is composed of many small pieces which fit imperfectly. The headboard cannot be leaned on without the support of a wall. The frame will slide around if you flop down on the bed. I scold my partner for this all the time now. It all seems barely enough, and I spend a lot of time worrying that it will break. This is a lot from a little, but it's not genius engineering by any means and I'd kind of like something better. ... show more

To answer some possible questions, that no one actually wants to type out in a public place, in as discreet a way I can: it does not squeak, it does not creak, it does not slide, it does not let the mattress slide, it does not bow and it does not come apart.
