The product quality is excellent, it is the perfect size and was very easy to understand assembly because all parts were labeled correctly even though I had some difficulty whilst assembling, please continue reading to know the complications. Although it looks great once finished, this product did give me some difficulty when assembling it such as some parts did not fit correctly or were slightly different from what was on the paper such as the top of the head board portion where the wood pieces come together, it shows 5 screws being used but there was only 4 holes in the wood which leads me to believe it was simply a mistake on the manufacturers part in building the pieces and it was also hard to fit between the metal bars where it says to put it, I had to loosen both sides in order to fit the wooden piece where it belonged despite following the instructions step by step. When assembling the cushioned part of the head board, it was quite difficult because I could barely get the screw in due to the positioning of the hole, and then one of the drawers I had to improvise with because the hole for one of the designated screws was not made correctly as the designated screw was not long enough to be able to screw in and I had to use a different kind of spare screw. Despite these troubles it turned out great and is very sturdy and I’m so glad I landed this deal! Also the pull out drawer can go on either side which I did not realize until assembling which makes this so much better because it means I can move my bed wherever and it is perfect for being placed against the wall because the pull out side is still functional, however if you want to switch the side the drawer is on, you will have to somewhat disable it and reassemble it to your preferred side so keep the tools and spare parts they give you for future changes. ... show more

Bought this powder metal coated bed for a small spare bedroom. I like the quality of the construction and the shelf space along with the the power strip… very handy since we have limited floor space in that room. Be prepared for the assembly process to take a good minute. It took me about two hrs. Instructions are clear but when are these companies going to do a better job labeling the parts pack… will you please print the part numbers on both sides of the package! Overall a solid bed for the money. Couldn’t give it five stars because I’m not sure it’s sturdy enough to handle everyday use. I hope this is helpful! ... show more

Comfortable - no squeaks. As a retired quality engineer, I can say that the design work to assure everything lines up is well done. It took me about 2 - 2.5 hrs to fully assemble it. All tools required and extra screws are provided. Two tips: 1. Be careful to follow the correct set of instructions - it depends on which side you want the retractable shelf unit on - Be careful - They define right/left as when viewed from the foot of the bed - NOT which side you sleep on. 2. Don't fully tighten a group of screws until they're all started. If you think a hole is mis-located, it's probably because you tightened some screws too soon. ... show more
