After a lot of research and reading reviews my daughter and I decided on this bunk bed for her and my granddaughter. Their room is small and my granddaughter had already grown out of her youth bed so getting bunk beds was the perfect solution. The delivery of the bed frames was fast. My daughter was able to put everything together herself with about 5 mins worth of help from me. The beds are beautiful and very sturdy however if my granddaughter (who's 7 and on the top bunk) starts moving around too much my daughter can feel it. Other than that they LOVE them. I also love the fact that the ladder could go on either side, that was a BIG plus!! The steps to the ladder are thin and were hurting my granddaughter's feet so I went back on Amazon and bought some foam padding with the tape on the back and wrapped it around each step. Then I bought some zip ties and tied them around each side of the foam rubber tightly to make sure it stays in place. My granddaughter said its so comfy now on her feet. Just a suggestion. This was definitely worth every penny! It also came with a few extra screws which was great. ... show more

Easy to assembly, easy-to-use, very sturdy. For low level, we recommended to use no more than 8 inches mattress, for easy access. Very important; Take your time & use the Allen hex key included, so you have control. When using a drill make sure speed is set to no more than 10 so bolt hex stays intact. I love this bed! You really can’t beat the price for what you get. It feels sturdy and looks great once it’s all put together. One thing I didn’t think about at first but ended up loving is the space underneath. You can easily fit storage bins or baskets under there, I’d say around 11 inches tall, which is perfect for keeping things organized without taking up extra room. Bought this bunk bed for my grandkids when they spend the night. I am very impressed with how sturdy it is . I was looking at a lot of others online and was going to get a wood frame until I saw this one on Amazon. It is very nice looking and my grandkids love it . The only down side is the ladder is on the back side of the bed making a bit of a challenge to change the sheets . There is another version of this bed with the ladder on the side . I couldn’t get that one because of the way the room is. That’s why I am giving it 4 stars ... show more

We purchased this for our grandsons room at our house. I’m very impressed by the sturdiness and quality. It was a bit confusing for the first few pieces but once we made sense of it we were able to get it but today within a few hours. I highly recommend you have two people to put it together but I believe that you could get it done by yourself. It would just take you a little longer. ... show more

Don't buy. Purchased this bunk and received a defective part. Called amazon and given company phone number but not in service. Tried to locate a phone number and nothing. Amazon said they would ship me a whole new bed just to pull out the damaged one and replace then call UPS to return. Makes absolutely no sense!!!
