The upgrade from my previous garbage flashlight is insane with this thing. The colors it produces are really nice and for some reason I always find myself using it in the orange mode like its a flame torch. The white light can get very bright and will blow you away in dark settings. In urban areas at night, it won't really have the intensity to make much of a difference with any kind of distance. For that you'll need a much bigger flashlight. The battery life is great. It takes quite awhile to charge; but once it's charged up, it'll go for hours. The seals and machining all feel great.
