Great sound in a small package
Color: Black & Steel
I’m very pleased with the remarkably clear and full sound from this speaker. Had no trouble connecting via Bluetooth and It now connects to my iPhone instantly after turning it on. It’s well finished, sharp looking, and very easy to operate, with large, easy to see controls. At 90 bucks (on sale) it was an absolute bargain.

Almost didn't like it!
Color: Black & Steel
Nice looking. Smaller than I expected, which is nice. Then I turned it on and immediately asked my son if he wants it. It sounded like a speaker playing from a bottom of a garbage can covered with a towel. I was not impressed. Not sure who tuned this, but it isn't impressive. The problem is that it has no App to adjust the EQ. Anyway I started to play with it. I have VLC player on my phone and I adjusted the EQ on there. This is when the speaker came alive and showed what it can do. I also turned on the soundstage enhancement button. The bass is incredible, but with the EQ adjustment the vocals opened up and the bass blended in giving music a great warmth. This is the first speaker that plays in the same realm as my Harman Kardon Speakers. So overall, right out of the box, to me it doesn't sound great, but if you are willing to fiddle a bit and adjust it with your player to your sound preference this is a great buy.

Great, if you can pair it
Color: Black & Steel
I love the shape of the speaker, easy to carry and operate- with a lot of bass and power, I do recommend it The bad part is I had to do a lot of troubleshooting trying to get it to pair with IPhone 13, and was requesting a refund - then advised to reboot and reinstall OIS software - Great product but I had to work hard for it.

Best in class
Color: Black & Steel
This speaker looks and sounds amazing! I’ll highlight some things that others haven’t mentioned in reviews. The two full range drivers angle outward, creating a large soundstage and some stereo separation, which is very unique of a speaker this size. It almost sounds like 2 separate speakers! The sound fills the room very well. I compared it to highly regarded Bluetooth speakers of similar size (uboom L, minirig 3) and the fender sounds so much bigger. Additionally, the fender sounds very natural, balanced and accurate. This is my current go-to speaker for indoor listening…the sound signature is very enjoyable. The speaker has a 1/4” tripod/go pro style mount on the bottom. I’m not aware of any other similar speaker that has this. One quirky thing about this speaker…it is very sensitive to placement. Example, it sounds too boomy if you place it in a corner, or the midrange sounds too boxy if you place it on a table. My solution is to use a short tripod mounted to the bottom (I use a small manfrotto brand tripod, see pic). This really makes the speaker sounds its best, plus the setup looks pretty cool. Outdoor it sounds fine, but I think it really shines indoors low to moderate volumes. If you want something louder or with deeper bass, you need a bigger speaker. I’d recommend the Earfun uboom x for this. I think one fender rockster go (on a tripod) and one Earfun uboom x (use the Oluv equalizer settings in the app) is the ideal portable speaker collection for most people… and it costs just a little over $200 total if you can get them on sale. The special dynamore stereo enhancing button sounds pretty cool for certain genres, mainly ones without vocals (EDM, jazz, soundscapes, instrumentals) but it really alters the sound of most music too much for me, so I usually just keep it off. A few other things…the USB C charging input also functions as an audio input, but I have not used this feature yet. The battery life is superb. The handle on the back is kinda weird, I haven’t found a good use for it yet. There is a power save mode (hold first and last buttons until it beeps) that basically reduces bass, maybe useful if you are just playing background music for a long time. Overall, this speaker is one of the best choices for a small portable Bluetooth speaker. I say this having heard most of the competitors (Bose, jbl, UE, Sony, tribit, marshall, soundcore/anker, and many more).

So happy with this product
Color: Black & Steel
I couldn’t believe how great this speaker is, even outside. I love the bass effect and how retro it looks. The sound is incredible, even outdoors. It pairs with my devices and travels well. So lucky to receive this great little speaker before it sold out!
