  • But I thought it was New?
Color: 3-Color Sunburst Style: Bass Only
Been playing bass guitars for over 40 years and own several American built Fender basses except for a Mexico built Fender bass guitar. This Mexico built version has an amazing Fender sound, electronics are superb, overall built and quality is excellent. USA and Mexico models are practicly identical in every way. Only thing is, I noticed it had been used. Plastic wrapping on the tuners were peeled off except for a small piece that was still stuck to the D tuner and a piece of a string which was for a tag or label, stuck tightly in between the tuner knob. Also saw finger prints on the tuners and the pick guard as well as the noticable strokes on the pick guard thin plastic covering protecting the pick guard. When I purchase a Fender bass guitar for $1,230.49 I expect it to arrive in pristine condition and blemish free without anyone touching or testing it. After all it is a "Fender" right? Whats to test? Seems like I was sold the floor model instead because after a thorough inspection I found some dust above the plastic bone nut. Yeah I know that I could have sent it back but it plays perfect. (for a used Fender bass guitar) I hope this helps future customers before purchasing from "Cream City Music" because this is the 1st and last time I purchase from them. ... show more

  • Please don't buy this.
Color: 3-Color Sunburst Style: Bass Only
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER. No way this seller is a legitimate guitar seller. The POS I received (the second one I ordered bc I NEVER received the first one.) The neck was so out of whack the D string wouldn't make a note passed the 6th fret regardless of height adjustment. AND the truss rod was bottomed out. Meaning no relief adjustment. I can't even believe Fender would even allow these to be sold. I've played 100 dollar instruments with better quality control than is Genuine "Fender" guitar. ... show more
