  • A very good stand
Style: Item Stand
I ordered this since it was at the price point that I wanted ($25) and was compact. When I received it, it was defective (it was not level and rocked on a level floor) However, Amazon is great ... did the return for credit and ordered another immediately (Friday night at 8:30 pm). The next one was delivered Sunday morning - Great! Now for the product: Rock solid! This thing could drive tent stakes. It has a height adjustment for the back of the guitar to rest on which is nice, so it can work with multiple sizes of guitars.. I've got fender strats, and a fender jazz bass. I had bought two other stand for the bass which were only marginal ... the bottom edge of the bass curves up on the left side (when sitting on the stand). On the old stands, when the bottom was level in the stand, the neck was pointing at a 30 degree angle from vertical. On this stand, the arms at the bottom are individually adjustable so I could raise the left one and leave the right one at the low position. And there is a little arm on the side to stop the bass from leaning. With all that, the bass is secure and points straight up! Horray! A really good bass stand in addition to being a standard electric stand. So, I like it a lot. If you have a fender jazz bass, this works great. It also works great for strats. If you get it and it is not level, send it back and get another ... I'm glad I did. ... show more

  • solid and attractive guitar stand solid and attractive guitar stand
Style: Item Stand
I have many guitar stands, but I needed a new stand that would be suitable for a Gibson EDS 1275 double neck. This stand is perfect, as the adjustable rear can be set low for the guitar's body, not the neck. It's very solid and it would be very difficult to tip over.

  • Best Flying V Stand
Style: Item Stand
Best stand you can buy for Flying V shaped guitars. Very sturdy too. I’ve knocked into it a couple times and it never fails.

  • Strandburg Stand
Style: Item Stand
Strandburg Bowden sits perfect on this stand. Recommend putting a flat on the side bar to so it won't rotate. Great stand!

  • Great for unusual shape guitars.
Style: Item Stand
Just got a double neck guitar and this stand works great with it. Sturdy and the cradles are adjustable, up and down to fit most electric guitars. The cradles are a little too narrow for an acoustic guitar or full hollow body electric but it still works ok for them. They just ride on top of the cradle instead of in it, but still secure. ... show more

  • Adjustable cradles allow Jackson guitars to be seated while plugged in
Style: Item Stand
This is a study stand, good for my home office. It's too bulky for carrying to gigs compared to other stands, but is solid for the home. The best feature is the adjustable cradles. The cradles on a similar stand by Amazon covered up the guitar jack for a Jackson Dinky, so it would not seat properly with a cable plugged in. But on this stand, I was able to adjust the cradles up so they would not block the jack. ... show more

  • Great to hold odd shaped guitars temporarily, but I wouldn't leave them on here for long. Great to hold odd shaped guitars temporarily, but I wouldn't leave them on here for long.
Style: Item Stand
I wanted a guitar stand to temporarily hold my guitars while I'm playing, for when I wanted to set them down for a minute while I fiddled with something else, or had to write something down etc., without having to unplug it and return it to the rack where they normally sit. The hanging type work good for this but I wanted something a little more compact. I have 3 explorer shaped guitars, and one flying V, so a regular A-frame stand wouldn't work. Thankfully I found this, and it worked exactly for what I needed, and folds up great to put away. The only complaint I have, and probably a deal breaker for some, is I wouldn't trust this 100% to hold my guitars all the time, as their permanent residence. The guitars kind of lean back when they sit in the stand, there is nothing to really support it from tipping over backward. This combined with the weight and awkward shape of my guitars makes me uneasy about leaving them there all the time, unlike the hanging type stands, specifically the Hercules stands, which I have about 4 of, which I have full faith in. This could just be me being paranoid, but it's worth mentioning, I think. Ultimately though, it works exactly for what I needed it for: a compact adjustable stand, for odd shaped guitars, that folds up when not in use; so 5 stars from me. ... show more
