You have to use both of the foam tubes so don't throw them away! One for the bottom and the little ones for the top pegs. Without them our smaller guitar fell through. Now it fits exactly what we needed

This guitar stand can serve purposes beyond holding musical instruments. Initially, the guitar stand portion was left uninstalled, and the remaining structure was repurposed as a bookshelf for storing records. The shelf is sturdy, crafted from quality materials, and very easy to assemble. A few weeks later, the remaining components were installed, allowing it to also function as a convenient hanger for purses.

This instrument stand is well-made and very easy to put together, in my opinion. I haven’t bought a stand like this before, so I’m not sure how the price compares to similar stands; but I think it seems reasonably priced for three shelves with space for a few instruments. Every piece of this stand was very well-labeled. It comes with everything needed to put it together, and the instructions are mostly pictures. It was easy to attach all parts together. I followed the instructions and didn’t fully tighten anything until I finished putting it together, which I think was smart. But I also appreciate very much that I was able to remove the part that holds vinyl records in place, even after I had fully put it together. I don’t have a record player right now, so I didn’t need that vinyl record holder; but I can easily reattach it if I need it later. There are two things I wish were different. One is that the foam covers for the metal tubes (to protect instrument necks) are quite loose; I wish they fit more tightly. The other thing is that if you have an acoustic instrument, it’s easy to accidentally bump that instrument when you’re removing another instrument. I wish that either the metal bars where you rest the instrument necks were further apart, or that those bars were adjustable. For the reasons above, I’m giving it four stars. But it looks good, it was easy to assemble, and our living room is so much more organized now that we have this instrument stand! We’ll be careful when we remove and put back instruments; but overall, this is a useful piece of furniture.
