  • Perfect for my double bass pedal setup on electronic kit
I have a Roland electronic/acoustic style kit (VAD 306) and I got a double bass pedal for it. The clamp didn’t fit flush on the rim of the bass drum, & it made the beaters off-center.. idk it didn’t work. THIS THING SAVED ME. I tried 1 or 2 other options but then I found this, it raises the smaller bass drum up just enough and my pedals can clamp to it and it just lines up where I need it to and keeps everything in place 🤘🏼 ... show more

  • Good for centering your double bass pedal
I got the riser for my 22x18 pearl reference bass because my pdp double pedal beaters weren’t centered to the head so I grabbed one of these and they centered it perfectly. It doesn’t effect my sound ( my bass is pretty dry ) and it took like 30 seconds to install. Very well made and the perfect size for what I needed, its also nice that I dont have to clamp my pedal directly to the hoop anymore. Overall a worthwhile purchase ... show more

  • Noticed the difference right away.
My 20" bass drum needed this. One it helped to center the beater more in the sweet spot of the drum, by raising the drum just enough. Two it creates noticeable difference in resonance by getting the drum up off the floor and resting on far less surface area. Three it protects the wood hoop from the pedal clamp bite. Four the drum sits freely on the lift, no unscrewing of lug rods. Five why the heck can't the drum manufacturers just include one of these with smaller drums ? ... show more

  • Doesn't work with my pedals/hoops
I was really excited about getting this and have been waiting for a while to purchase it. Unfortunately, it did not work with my drums/pedals. I tried it on both my 18" and 20" diameter kicks with the same results. Either the bass drum ended up too far away for the pedal to touch or the bottom of the foot plate hit the drum hoop on the way down. I've read other reviews that you have to tweak the angle and other parts of your kick pedal and that it also lifts the height of your toms. So it didn't work for my kits (Mapex Saturn & Sonor Bop) maybe it will work for yours. In order for it to work I think they would need to add a lift for the bass drum pedal itself so that you could still clamp it to the actual bass drum hoop. ... show more

  • Works as advertised
Used on an 18in Bass. Allowed for better centering of the beater. No creep or movement.

  • Does what it needs to do, but pretty expensive for what it is
Bought this to raise the 16" bass drum that came with my new portable "bop" kit. It is set up on carpet and doesn't seem to move, so it does accomplish what its made for. But, it is a simple piece of solid plastic that could be much less expensive. Note: some brands of drums don't have long enough bass drum arms to keep the drum level. My ludwig bop set works but some don't. ... show more

  • Won’t work with all bass drums.
You have to change your beater side rim to get the proper angle.

  • Best Money I've Ever Spent
This drum lift not only added some extra punch to my kick sound, it also solved a problem I had: My pedal, properly mounted, was too far away from the head, and the angle to get the beater in the head was ridiculous. The drum lift allowed me to slide the pedal forward, since it was no longer attached to the rim, which corrected the angle of the beater. Although no one else in the universe has this weird pedal problem. ... show more
