Ok so I am a 6’1 man who plays bass in actual bands. Long fingers even. My main bass is a Rickenbacker 4003. I ordered this as I wanted a short scale bass because I love the idea of portability — and plus that friggin purple finish for 200 c’mon now. I also have a Gibson SG and believe it or not the LENGTH of this bass is SLIGHTLY smaller! NOT the SCALE length, I mean just simply the LENGTH LENGTH. From all the websites to the YouTube reviews — couldn’t find that ANYWHERE on the internet and it infuriated me. It is 38 inches total people! People and sites kept going scale length, scale length, scale length bla bla bla. I just wanted to make sure I’d fit in an Uber for crying out loud, without them eyeing a big case and popping the trunk every darn time — so I cared diddly squat about the scale length, but YES again, it’s SUPER short. The playability is insane. If you’re used to playing on a full scale, especially one as unforgiving as a Rickenbacker (IYKYK) you will fly on this thing. The precision in your bass lines will take maybe half a day of improvement getting used to the somewhat smaller frets but you’ll be FASTER and SMOOTHER right off the bat. The band I’m in does drop D flat, and this thing came shipped in D flat standard. Played great even then, so yes you CAN do drop tunings on this thing. Anyone who says otherwise is probably a whiner not even in a single band. Feels good, very light. I’d even go as far as to say this is some of the best tone on a 200 dollar bass independent of its scale length. You won’t find any value like this on the market at that price. Came set up with non adjustments required. Get it for a kid, get it for a dwarf, a woman you know — whatever, it’s great for that too. In my opinion though if you’re a working musician of any age or size who wants portability and almost no compromise for it, get this bass for YOURSELF MAINLY. It checks the boxes if you’re pro enough to know what your hands are capable of universally. GREAT bass in general. Can’t beat it for the money. Man up. PLAY IT. Do it now. ... show more

This is a big sound in a small body. Ufff this the quality of this bass is awesome. You will love it. I have change my to gold hardware and it looks like Prince bass , awesome

The media could not be loaded. Demoró mucho tiempo en llegar a mi domicilio. Incluso tomo más de 10 días en qué debitaran de mi cuenta el valor del bajo. Ya tengo el producto en mis manos y realmente se sintió muy comodo. Sin embargo llegó con el alma descalibrada pero nada que unos leves ajustes no arreglaran. Estoy contento con el bajo pero deben mejorar los tiempos de entrega y verificar la calibración del instrumento antes de enviarlo. Es un buen instrumento para alguien que es guitarrista. Si eres un bajista profesional. No creo que sea tu mejor opción. ... show more
