Description

U.S.-designed Paramount series acoustic instruments are finely crafted and specially voiced to bring your personal artistic vision to life. Each all- solid body serves up many legacy design elements of classic ’60s models, but alongside this art deco look, Paramount instruments retain a foothold in thoroughly modern design. Perfect for the most intricate solo passages and strumming alike, the slightly smaller Triple 0 guitar body adds generous volume and versatility to the Paramount Standard family. Along with a quality combination of tone woods, including balanced and resonant mahogany back and sides and a grade "A" Sitka spruce tops, the Paramount Standard Triple 0 is equipped with an abundance of desirable appointments, including ebony fingerboards with pearl dot inlays, nickel tuning machines and real bone nuts.

  • Beautiful Guitar
Size: Dreadnought Style: Standard - Natural
I honestly can't believe I bought this guitar for the price that I did. It may be the best value I will ever get in my life. I'm not a very experienced player and have been playing an old fender with laminated back and side with a solid sitka spruce top. The sound difference is amazing. Setting the neck relief properly is Paramount (LOL pun intended) to getting this guitar to play like a dream. I found info on the internet that 0.010" of relief at the 6th fret is a good setting for most playing styles. This was really contrary to what my ignorant self thought but after using a framing square and feeler gauge to adjust the strut rod WOW what a difference. With less neck relief there was less fret buzz, and with this guitar you will hear everything, it is clear, balanced and detailed. I looked at all the top brands and for what you get this should be an $800 guitar. Anything less is a bargain. UPDATE: After writing this review the next day I was playing some notes on the low E and A strings and thought I heard an errant vibration. Not fret buzz. I tapped on the top below the below the bridge and there was a vibration that I shouldn't be hearing. After removing the strings and and spending some time tracking down the source I tracked it to the battery holder. When the battery was removed the vibration went away. After some experimenting with some solutions I came up with the solution shown in the photos. Using Duck brand soft foam, rug anti slip tape I wrapped the battery holder with one layer around the body and 2-3 layers over the back and made a perimeter foam gasket to try to acoustically shield it and/or keep any vibration from radiating into the guitar body. I also put some neoprene foam tape on the inside of the battery door. No more errant vibration and my guitar sounds better than ever. Still a 5 star guitar and I only wanted to post this in case it can help others. ... show more

  • Beginner
I'm a beginner with no guitar experience so take this for what it is, but in my opinion this guitar is quite attractive, tunes easily and stays in tune from day to day, and I'm learning so I have no complaints.

  • Wow. Uber quality
Size: Parlor Style: Standard - Natural
Everything about this guitar is surprisingly (given I thought Chinese guitars were subpar) perfect. The most amazing thing is the super low, non buzzing action. SOLID would all around—including back and sides. Parlor size is perfect whilst playing in my easy chair. Highly recommended.
