I wanted an inexpensive acoustic I could take on backpacking trips. Models like the Martin that have the super-tiny body and odd shapes really affect the tone negatively and they're much harder to get comfortable holding and playing. This 3/4 size was a nice compromise to lighten the weight significantly (it's 3.75lbs), but still have the tone and playability more similar to a full-size guitar. The quality of the build is nice. The tuning pegs turn smoothly and have good friction to hold tuning well. The adjustable thrust rod is a nice feature to have on a guitar in this price range. The color and finish are quite nice. I added a small adhesive pick guard in a brown/gold tortoise shell pattern and it looks really nice. The intonation is set accurately as well. I'm looking forward to many years of fireside sessions with this little unit. ... show more

I love it! Very pretty, sound nice, steel strings, well packaged. Nice size, it’s my living room guitar doesn’t take up too much space or overly bulky. It’s a bluish green color.

The media could not be loaded. Beautiful little beginner guitar. The frets are nicely finished and have no sharp edges. It has a nice loud sound. The action is low which makes learning easier. If played aggressively it will buzz just like any low action set up. You can fix this yourself if it's an issue for your play style with a taller bridge insert or nut (see internet for ideas on raising the nut slot heights without replacing or replace). I bought 2 fender 3/4 guitars both beautifully set up. It is beautifully made and would really encourage a young guitarist to play on such a lovely beginner instrument. It would also make a nice sturdy travel guitar to play with on trips. It is a solidly made guitar. I bought this as a beater guitar "used acceptable" on Amazon warehouse for a 7 year old. And a second one for a 12 year old. Even my 15 year old and I love the feel and play of it. Great for many different ages. ... show more

This is a very good smaller body guitar plays well sound good looks good. Great guitar for younger people to older people to play and learn on. Also great travel guitar it's just a great all around smaller guitar fun to play, if your looking for a smaller guitar to learn on I recommend this guitar or for travel or coffee shop to camp fire. This is built well also and is not a toy it's the real deal get you one.     • Hard to hold onto (it's slick) and doesn't have mounting tabs for a strap on the top.

Love the little guitar except one major design flaw - there's nowhere for the TOP part of a guitar strap to attach to the body. There's a knob for the bottom end. Why didn't they put one on top??? They want you to use one of those staps that tie to the top of the neck, which gets in the way of playing and is very uncomfortable. They really should have put a mount on the top of the body/bottom of neck for that. I'm going to explain why this is important. There's no grip on this guitar - it's satin finish but it's slick feels like plastic, sort of like a laminate countertop. There's no grip to it. So you're sitting there trying to pick and it's sliding off of your body, you're trying to grip on to it and for me it's uncomfortable (at least for me.) I'm trying to reach over grab a drink or something and I can't because I'm having to hold onto this little thing with both hands. I'd about rather had a glossy finish it might have a little more bite to it. Sounds like a a thin wood box as I expected. But to be fair I knew it would and it sounds okay honestly. I didn't care as much about the sound I just wanted something to pick outside while I'm grilling or sitting around on the deck without bringing out my expensive guitars. If I scratch it, bump it on my metal chair arm or get a little charcoal from the grill on it I wont have to cry about it at this price point. I kind of wish I would have spent a few hundred more on the Martin I wanted still in a small form factor but it at least had strap mounts. It didn't sound much different to be honest so I went with this one only for the price. I didn't think the strap mount would annoy me this much but it does. May sell this or give it to a young person (it's a small size guitar) who would appreciate it and go buy something else. If it weren't for the price this thing would get 1 star I'm being generous with 3 only because it was less than the price I just paid for a new pair of shoes. ... show more
