I absolutely LOVE this guitar! I have tried to learn to play in the past and had a full size Fender for over 20 years, I just could never get the hang of it. I really wanted to learn. Nothing crazy, I don't want to be in a band, I just want to be able to pick it up and sound like I kind of know what I am doing. One of the biggest problems I had was that I could not get my hand wrapped around the neck. And recently I had carpal tunnel in both hands, so my muscle strength and dexterity is even worse. THAT is why I went with this guitar. The 3/4 is the perfect size for me. I have become half-way decent, still not getting into any bands any time soon!! I can at least play around a campfire. I have played 4-5 times a week for 5 months. I have built great calluses on my fingers. If anyone understands the need for calming the mind when things get stressful, then this is a perfect outlet to use. Music, even when it's not good because you're the one playing it and you not very good and you don't sound great, is some of the best therapy there is! It has become my emotional support animal. Now for the actual quality.... I have had a few people that actually know how to play and who actually know quality instruments and they have all told me how impressed they are with my guitar. It tunes really well and keeps its tune. It has great sound and tone. It's a Fender, so the quality goes without saying. I truly am impressed with this guitar. 5+ stars IF I had to try and find something wrong, it would be that it didn't automatically make me an amazing guitarist. We purchased this for our 7 yo daughter. She will begin lessons soon. It's slightly big, but not much for her size. It does come with 1 strap button at the bottom, however the strap is designed to go around the neck at the top. I bought buttons to attach before realizing this and almost didn't purchase because of reviews saying it needed 2 buttons and came with 1. Music and instruments are not my strength, but it is beautiful and barely even needed to be tuned. It came well packaged with no damage. The gig bag is enough for the limited travel she will be doing with it. Much prettier than what was available at our local music store and a brand more trusted as well. ... show more

First issue: only one shoulder strap button was on the guitar had to pay for second button to be added at the base of the neck of the guitar. Great guitar for kids! My 8 year old son loves it! He can use it now, and he can grow into it, too! On the first day of his lesson, his teacher helped us tune it, and he said, “This is a really nice guitar for an 8 year old.” Would definitely recommend.
