  • Great guitar!
I bought this guitar after returning the Recording King RPS-9, which was junk. I had been reading different reviews on decent priced parlor guitars and it was between this one and the Recording King. This guitar is a great guitar. I think the natural colored one is a little bigger than the sunburst model. It’s well made, has great action, and already has the strap pin on it. The Recording King did not have one. I wanted this guitar to take camping, the beach, and keep out on a stand in my home to play around with. I am not disappointed. I highly suggest this guitar. It’s a great price for a solid top. I think I may end up putting an LR Baggs pickup in it for a different sound. This guitar is worth every penny! ... show more

  • Good quality guitar. Bad choice of strings.
Good quality guitar, the strings are made of too hard a metal and are painful to play and give too bright a sound. The action is too high from the 4th fret and up. If you buy, do yourself a favor, take this guitar to your local guitar store and have them fix the action and replace the strings with some D'Addario XT light strings. ... show more

  • Actual size of this guiitar
The actual size of this parlor sized guitar is 13 5/8" at the lower bout, body length is 18 7/8", and 4 inches deep at the lower end. The bridge is a light colored wood, that matches the fingerboard, it could be walnut, but more likely to be an Asian species of wood something like walnut. It has really nice sound, and it seems to be built very well. ... show more

  • What a bargain!
Returned by some picky consumer, hence considered “used”, I got this small-sized acoustic for a song. It is beautifully made and has great resonance for a small guitar. Portable, and holds a tune.

  • Quality
Received this guitar from my wife as she knew I wanted it for my birthday. The first day I played, it was not in tune as having been shipped. But after an hour of playing and tweaking the sound is impressive. I’m use to playing a full size acoustic guitar but after several weeks I’m always reaching for this one. Of course the neck is typical Fender which is easy to play. The sound is almost as good as a full size good quality guitar. The craftsmanship of build is very good and the neck can be adjusted but found it to be perfect height from factory. The frets are smooth when sliding. Have not had to tune it up in over a week. Very satisfied with this guitar and looks great! ... show more

  • My first guitar.
Ok, I am new, and i mean NEW, to playing the guitar. I played a friends full length scale guitar and could tell the finger stretching would be a bit much for me. Even this is a struggle at the top of the neck, but much less of one. It sounds great, it was a great price, i love it.

  • Failed Quality Control
My CP-60S arrived with damage to the clear coat on the side of the neck at the 12th fret. it shouldn't have left the factory like that. But I will order a new one. Other than that easily observed defect, it's a nice guitar for two hundred dollars.

  • Good guitar for small people
I was pleased with the quality of the instrument and sound. The thin neckboard and body makes it easier for me to play (I am short and have small hands).
