  • Great bendy string for bass
Color: 5250 Short Scale Bass Size: 40-95
These light strings are not for everyone—and they certainly require a little flex with your muscle memory...but they are bright and bendy. I strung an Epiphone short scale bass with these and really enjoy their tone and light touch response. And talk about note bending! A really versatile string that responds well to pick playing too (for those guitarists out there that like to mess around with bass playing/or those bass players that understand it's okay to use picks lol.) ... show more

  • These strings have a real nice smooth feel for rounds
Color: 5250 Short Scale Bass Size: 40-95
These strings have a real nice smooth feel for rounds. I have them on my Ibanez micro bass. You can't hammer on these thou. They are a bit floppy, but I play light enough so this is not an issue. They are however a bit on the muffled side. Not lots of brightness, but again, I play in a small rock group and they need bottom not slappy Thomas on the bass. Try them .....they feel really good on your fingers!!!! UPDATE: Added some highs on the amp......AWESOME......strings can be nice and crisp too!!!! UPDATE: On my Ibanez micro bass, the E string wrap is about and inch too long, so it wraps around the tuning peg....BUT, it does go into the hole in the peg ok....It just wraps on the thick side...Still works....Wish the wrap was an inch shorter, so the thin wrap part would be on the tuning peg instead of the string itself....DON'T CUT THE E STRING TOO SHORT....LEAVE MORE THAN YOU THINK! ... show more

  • Good strings
Color: 5250 Short Scale Bass Size: 40-95
Prefer flat wound strings on Bass but these were equal to other name brand rounds in learning that.

  • Good quality strings.
Color: 5250 Short Scale Bass Size: 40-95
I liked these strings. I usually use flatwounds but thought I’d try these on my Gretsch Jr Jet. They sound awesome and about half the price of flatwounds.

  • The strings are doing their jobs as they should.
Color: 5250 Short Scale Bass Size: 40-95
I needed new strings for my Squier Bronco Bass. With the strings replaced, my Bronco Bass plays a lot better than how it sounded with stock strings.

  • EASY ON FINGERS FOR NEW USER
Color: 5250 Short Scale Bass Size: 40-95
I decided to try a lightweight set of bass strings because they feel so big after playing guitar and these feel comfortable. They stay in tune very well and were economical as compared to others I saw advertised so I would recommend them!

  • Five Stars
Color: 5250 Short Scale Bass Size: 40-95
Good bright and solid tone for a set of flat wound strings. Easy on the fingers and frets.
