I used the saw on a blown down, small tree. Branches and trunk were up to about 4" in diameter and the saw had no problem with them. It cuts smoothly and evenly, doesn't get tangled in debris from the cut, and performs with the typical expertise of a Felco saw. The only drawback is the price. At almost $79, it's quite expensive compared to a number of other highly reviewed tree saws. I guess it's quality with a cost. Still it's a great saw if the price is affordable for you. ... show more

Bought this last October but hadn't used it until today. I was amazed how well it cut, especially when pulling the blade back. I'm an old man with an injured shoulder so forward motion is painful when exerting significant force. With this saw, I was able to cut efficiently when pulling the saw, which my should appreciated. I was initially skeptical but as soon as I used it realized it was very well thought out. Very comfortable to use and the holder makes it unobtrusive to carry on your belt with the leg strap. The blade is as sharp as it gets and is very effective on branches up to about 3 inches..

"Designed in Switzerland", made in South Korea. OK. But for the price? NO. Forty five bucks should buy Swiss steel. Maybe thirty bucks. Nice saw but way over priced.
