  • For DSLR/Mirrorless camera with zoom lens.
Size: SCORP C
The quality is above average. The features is plenty. No LCD but it use your phone and Bluetooth for most of the settings. The only downside (for myself) is the weight and no carry case.

  • Amazing sturdy well built gimbal (Yes Compatible with Nikon D7500, But not intuitively)
Size: SCORP C
I am correcting my review - Yes this is partially compatible with D7500. However, the compatibility is really limited and the instructions on the needed sequence of events needed to connect via cable the Gimbal and Camera. The Elusive instruction from Feiyu (I kept the grammar error is written): 1. After connecting the cable, be sure to power on the Feiyu gimbal before the camera and wait for about 6 seconds for successfully connection after camera power on 2. Please switch photo / video mode on camera manually. 3.To operate digital focusing in video mode, you need to set the camera's focusing mode to AF-FS or AF-FC. When operating digital focus in photo mode, the focus mode of the camera cannot be MF mode. After shooting the video you can not review what was done immediately. You must disconnect the cable. That being said this is an excellent quality gimbal regardless of the misleading advertising. It is very easy to use, and very easy to learn to use it is of excellent quality and handles well and extremely smoothly. The manual, although detailed, is inadequate - use the youtube videos for the best instructions and even though are inadequate. Points of contention: 1.) The mounting plate is not quick-release and must be unscrewed. Because I used my Nikon D7500 for still photos and video I switch lenses I must reposition the mounting plate to fix my 150-600mm lens. This is a problem because you must balance the camera each time you use the gimbal which makes repositioning the mounting plate very tedious. I would like to mark the mounting plate for balance and quickly release the plate when mounting it to my tripod for HDR photos or just telephoto zoom still shots 2.) The calibration button is in a very inconvenient position on the rear handle. I accidentally pressed this button multiple times during multiple shots to have the camera go into calibration move and ruin the entire shot and need to redo it. It is possibly the worst thing about this and I have grown a deep hatred of this button's position. 3.) In order to remove the battery from the camera, you will need to remove the camera from the gimbal. Why is this bad? It's bad because you must now spend 15 - 20 minutes rebalancing the gimbal. ... show more

  • Price To Quality Ratio Met
Size: SCORP Mini
This gimbal exceeded my expectations. I thought it might be a cheezy knockoff type of thing, but was mistaken. Comes officially packaged, look and feel is awesome. No cheezy parts that I can detect. My only gripe is that it takes a little work to get it balanced. Also, make sure you balance it before turning on, or it will vibrate and make noise and you'll think there's something wrong with it. Or, so I've heard. LoL. Works great for stabilizing just about any camera I have, and I think it's a solid budget option. I Dig It 👍 ... show more

  • Great
Size: SCORP Mini
This is 100% the best gimbal I've used for smaller rigs. It's smooth and silent, and packed full of features. The biggest one for me is that I don't have to connect it to my phone. All of the features on this gimbal I can access right from the touch screen interface. I can change motor power, set scenes, set speed, and swap controls all while letting my phone do what phones do best (not have to deal with it). Balancing it was easy, and they even have videos to show you the exact steps to take for a perfect balance. I can use the joystick on the back to change tilt and pan, and the knob on the front can give me a high user input option for tilt. I can lock everything so the camera will always be pointed in the same direction no-matter what I do with my hand, or I can have it follow pan, pan + tilt, or pan + roll + tilt. It even has a speed option for quick tracking. This thing feels solid and very well designed. It's a pleasure to hold in the hand. It can holder larger rigs than what I'm using it for, but I'm using it with my GoPro. The GoPro already has very good stabilization, but it becomes ugly when I shoot at night. The image tends to show movement streaks as it has to really slow down the frame rate to suck in enough light to see anything. This tool allowed me to use that camera for a consistent video, but also allow for night shots with a clean result. This thing is way overkill for a GoPro as it could easily handle a DSLR with a prime lens. My big heavy Sigma 18-35 combined with an R10 is just over the 2.5 pound weight limit at 2.7 pounds. I'm pretty sure this gimbal could still handle it, but I use the Scorp Pro for that. One thing that this does that's very interesting is the panoramic scene. Essentially I can set my camera to take pictures, hit a button on the gimbal, and it'll make a very cool left-to-right sweep with stops so I can stitch together a perfect wide panoramic shot. It came with a phone mount adapter, a ton of different cables for connecting a huge variety of cameras, and it even came with a GoPro style mount. I really like that they have usb-c slots right at the camera mount on the gimbal so I don't have to worry about cables getting tangled up while it's in use. The trigger on the bottom works just like the Scorp Pro. A double tap sets it back to perfectly straight in line with your arm. That way if I have it twisted and I need to reset it quick, I can do that very easily. A triple tap flips the camera around to face you. I can go from a front shot, to a selfie quickly and effortlessly. Overall a very nice impressive gimbal. Highly recommended. ... show more

  • Won't Connect to ZV-E10
Size: SCORP Mini
I wanted to really like this gimbal, but I cannot get it to connect to my Sony ZV-E10. I used the original cable and FeiyuTech sent me a replacement cable. It just will not connect. The gimbal is a bit hard to balance as well. The balancing arms don't slide easily so it's a bit finicky. I do like the fact that the gimbal is very lightweight and comes with tripod legs. I like the handle that allows you to easily carry the gimbal in the underslung hold. I also like the knob that helps you smoothly move the gimbal. Overall, the gimbal works purely as something that stabilizes your camera footage. I just wish it would connect to my ZV-E10 like it claims. ... show more
