This machine easily sewed through two layers of 2/4oz leather. Pattern stitches and even buttonholes were no problem. And this machine is much quieter than my other machine. Speed is excellent as is speed control. The foot pedal is sometimes difficult to get started but I'm figuring out the proper angle of my foot to alleviate that. There are plenty of stitch patterns with control for width and length. Accessories are fairly complete, could have used an edging foot, but it seems everything else I would need is there. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that the instructions were in proper English, accompanied by understandable diagrams, and covered a lot of techniques too. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Haven’t used it yet but it did arrive 2 days early. Excellent machine. I’m very pleased with it. It’s actually like a singer except it works better. Like all low end models the the automatic threader sucks so I just got a hand threading tool for a couple bucks. Yeah I would recommend this machine.

Just don't. It's cheap and junky. Feed dog adjustment arrived broken; needle position adjuster is stuck i the left side position so needle cannot center anymore. Presser foot is murder to operate and you must put all your weight down on it to get it to start, then it starts 1,000 miles an hour running over your fingers and ruining your delicate projects. Unlike older machines you cannot replace presser foot, this one is some stupid computer chip thing. Today the whole machine just died mid-seam, just mid straight stitch on cotton fabric. Not jammed, not stuck, threaded correctly, blew out lint and dust and took apart and put together again STILL COMPLETELY DEAD. Nothing works but the light that WILL NOT STOP FLASHING. Of course I am about 10 days past the return window. This really sucks to lose so much money to cheap China craftsmanship. Seller if you read this, please reach out and let me return this thing, I am very unhappy. First I bought it on Prime Day and you charged me full price instead of the sale-price, then you refunded only HALF of what you over priced me. You have been a very, very, very bad person to do business with and you sell really bad stuff after you scam us out of money. I'm just so disgusted with you and your product.

This is my first machine and first time using a sewing machine. I needed to fix my boat seats that were coming apart at the seams and I didn't want to pay someone $600+ to do it and I didn't want to spend about the same for an industrial machine that I might only use a few times, so I put my trust in FEIYUE, and I'm glad I did. My 9 year old son and I watched a YouTube video on how to setup and use the machine. It took me about 20 minutes because I overthought the steps too much lol. Once I got it figured out, I sewed my first seat pretty quickly with no problems. Then I tried a thick corner section that had 4 layers of vinyl and canvas material. I was very pleased to see this machine power through all of the layers with ease, at slow speed. The stitches are tight and leave no loose ends. I can't compare to other brand machines, but I think I scored a touchdown in terms of value for money! I highly recommend this sewing machine.
