The doorbell camera connects directly to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi at home and can be controlled from anywhere as long as you have access to a Wi-Fi or cellular network. This doorbell camera works with the Feit Electric Android & iOS mobile app and will alert your phone and send a live video when motion is detected outside your door. Use the Feit Electric app to tune in any time for a live look, or choose to receive an alert any motion is detected. Converse in real time with a built-in microphone and speaker. Recorded events can be stored on-board in a separately sold SD card, you can download the video wirelessly through the Feit app when Micro-SD is in the WiFi camera. got it mounted,installed sd card,wifi connected,...which took me a few tries resetting,instructions were good,i struggled w wifi name/password but thats cause I'm tech challenged,in the app you can choose mechanical chime,or electronic chime,which is why my physical ding dong wasnt ding donging,now it is,it does pick up cars driving by,i set motion to low, and you can adjust the area,as our proud american flag triggers it in a breeze,im still learning the features ...it has a usb plug,if you want to bring it inside i guess,i ended up using small wire nuts,the angled plate was nice bonus,wish the reset button was accessed without loosening the torx screw,it has lots of app features like device sharing images,and video,im glad im getting it figured out,ill get a 128gb sd card,as 32 was what i had on hand,reading reviews shows me other feit products can be used with same app,so far we are liking the doorbell ,knowing your 2.4g wifi name,and password a plus,otherwise i wouldve paired much easier,had my brain twisted ,but all good now,i like the notification, and soon will test the audio 2 way ,you just have to play with setting or watch videos,i hope it holds up,no subscriptions is great ... show more

    • Did not meet my needs wasted money

thoughtful: I recently tried the Feit Electric Doorbell Camera and unfortunately I was not very impressed with the overall performance. While the idea and features looked promising, my experience did not fully meet expectations. Installation was fairly straightforward, and the physical design looks clean and modern once mounted. However, the connectivity was inconsistent at times, which affected live viewing and notifications. There were delays in alerts, and the video feed occasionally lagged more than I would have liked. The video quality was acceptable in good lighting, but not as sharp or reliable in lower light conditions as I expected. For a security device, dependability is extremely important, and I found myself wishing for more consistent performance. Overall, the Feit Electric Doorbell Camera has a nice appearance and some useful features, but in my experience it did not deliver the reliability I was hoping for. It may work well in certain setups, but it did not fully meet my needs. ... show more

    • Sets up way easier with iPhones than android

Use this for my Florida condo. Easy to use. A little too sensitive on the motion sensor. Unit is difficult to set up using android app but takes seconds if you use the iphone. Then after that use any app and product is very easy to use. Brookstone model is the exact same one. December 2023 Unit is now one and a half years in. Picture still very good. Sound just ok. Unit goes offline if wifi is weak to front door. It's pros are no monthly fee and relatively easy to set up. Needs a 2.4 network. Overall happy with this doorbell camera and do recommend. February 2025 Unit has served us very well. Has had zero issues with connecting to Wi-Fi. Picture is still very good. So three years in, the unit continues to serve us well with no monthly charges. June 2025 Unit remains connected to wifi and electricity, however I cannot see the video remotely any longer. Not sure if the camera burnt out or if the unit needs to be reconnected. October 2025 I returned to my condo to find out unit no longer works. It served me pretty well for 3+ years, so I ordered the same exact one to replace it. Makes life easier. Late October 2025 Installed the new version and it connected way easier than the 2022 model ever did. I also installed a new micro SD card. The picture quality is better, you can go back in time, and the motion section seems to work very well. Another difference is this new model has a door bell you plug into a usb plug and then to a power outlet. All in all the improvements definitely make this a better product, especially at this price point. Bottom line if you want a video doorbell with no monthly fees, that you can look at back video, and have decent (not great) video quality this unit is for you. ... show more

This is a better and cheaper alternative to other doorbell cameras. No subscription is required. Battery charges from the line current and the display shows up on Alexa, unlike previous Feit products. This replaced a Ring camera and, overall it has done very well.

I purchased this because I needed something affordable and I have other Feit products which work great. It was easy to install but wouldn’t work with the indoor component so you can’t hear the doorbell ring which isn’t necessarily a bad thing when you have dogs. The video option is a great feature. Picture and video quality isn’t bad but not the best at a distance. It had a good sensor and I didn’t mind the alerts especially when away from home. I liked being able to answer the door or yell at vandals which has happened. Sadly now as you can hear in the video it’s not working properly. I’m getting less frequent alerts no matter what I do and speaker is shot because no one can understand what I’m saying. I am disappointed because my lighting is Feit and I love having everything in one application. Unfortunately now I have to find something else. ... show more

Bought this about 2 years ago and it worked great at first. Randomly, it lost connection to the network and then would not pair or reconnect. Seems like the connection is a common problem other people have too.

It works. A bit slow t9 connect to see feeds. It does not store events like the spotlight Camaras do. Had to scrool back the history. Pictures are not bad at all. Night infer red will give you dancing bugs that will come by and say hello.. Set up a dusk to dawn motion light. Mine is low at dusk and when motion it goes full bright. Turns the camera back to color in t h e dark night Definitely not like the Google Hello that is super easy to watch and go through 30 days of events. But it cost more as and need to pay for storage. But so worth it. ... show more
