Highly recommend. At least it is real Saffron. I drink this as tea when my period doesn't come on time (make sure you are not pregnant before you use this). The one I got from Chinatown gave me that pretty orange/red color after I boil it (anyone had experience with any kinds of herbs before can tell it's a human-added color…) this one I got from Amazon is the regular tea color. A little tips for people who use these kind of herbs like I do, whenever Saffron and Goji seed give you a red color in hot water, don't use it. It's definitely color added. Either in bad quality or it's not the real thing you are looking for.

Received overnight. I use saffron in conjunction with my chai tea for respiratory issues. It has very little taste on it's own and didn't alter the taste of my tea. I have had a cup the previous 3 nights and have rested better, It might be my imagination or coincidence, but I didn't have to take a histamine{Zyrtec}} to be able to breathe lying down. I used a teaspoon each of saffron, chai tea and honey in an 8 ounce hot water and strained , when pouring into cup.

I tried this in conjunction with slippery elm and I noticed a significant improvement in my moderate ulcerative colitis symptoms. I would make the tea every morning and drink it over the span of a few hours. I didn't add any sugar or honey to it. I feel that the tea tasted fine on its own and didn't need any added sweeteners. Be sure to buy a strainer for when you remove the herbs from your water after it seeps. I would usually seep the tea for at least 30 minutes.

I use one level measuring tablespoon to steep 20oz of tea. I drink at least that 20oz per day sometimes 40oz. The taste and aroma is mild in my opinion. Not something I would seek out for flavor, but that's not why I bought it in the first place. My wife hates the smell of the open bag, the steeped tea, my breath after drinking. Says it smells bad. Regardless, I bought it to help with symptoms of Psoriasis. It does seem to help a little bit. It is NOT a miracle worker and it does take time. I used more than 1/2 the bag before I noticed any improvement. I've tried to follow as much of Pagano's regimen as I can and have seen 50-70% improvement. I have also used slippery elm at least once a day: one level measuring teaspoon per mug per day. Not sure what has helped the most: this tea, excluding nightshades, slippery elm, or increased rest / lower stress. But I am making progress. Good luck to you!

I liked this tea because of the research I compiled from Edgar Cayce library and Saffron Tea was recommended in one of his readings for psoriasis and digestive disorders. I have managed to control the phlegm in my throat by drinking a cup each day with some honey. Is very effective.
