  • Very Solid, Nice-Looking Machine with Countless Different Exercises You Can Innovate
I've regained much of my previous enthusiasm for hard exercise, after I got this machine. The only thing it seems lacking, is a dedicated feature for doing an upright (military) press. But I worked around that by buying a chain about 55 inches long and using it to hook a long bar to the low cable outlet that is for doing curls. With this chain, the press bar comes up to my shoulder level for the presses and of course, the length is adjustable by using different links of the chain to attach the carabiner clips. I also have a stirrup-shaped grip with a hook I can clip onto any cable outlet. If you haven't done hard exercise before or recently, I advise you to take it easy for some time, before pushing yourself to heavier resistance levels. This is especially true for the the leg-extension and other leg exercises. Let your body become accustomed gradually to your exercises and find out if any of them will make you sore or strained, before trying to do more. Don't assume you can just throw this thing together quickly and easily. It will take some work and attention to detail, to get everything right the first time. Follow the instructions and diagrams exactly and you should be OK. All the fasteners and tools you need are included, but be careful not to misplace any of them, as there are no extras and being of metric measurement, those in the U.S. may not find replacements in their parts bins or even at some smaller hardware stores. The bars may not suit everyone, so you may need to buy some that work better with you. I already had a longer, straight bar and a curl bar with rolling sleeves on the grips, which I recommend. ... show more

  • No customer service. Cheap product
Despite lots of different attempts, the push pin will not slide into the weight stack after the first 2 weight plates. No return email, messages to customer service. Wire constantly falls from wheels - again after many different attempts/changes

  • Pretty good for the money
Pretty decent for the money and don't get overwhelmed with all the parts from the 4 boxes. Pretty easy to install step by step directions and took me roughly 4 hours to unpack and put together. Make sure your installing the cables in the right place.

  • Ok product for the money but...
First off, this is a great home gym for the price (a little over 500 bucks). But a good home gym should cost significantly more. It looks amazing in the pictures (why i bought it) but upon opening the box you realize looks can be deceiving. They say a machine is only as strong as its weakest link... Well, this has A LOT of wink links. With that said, I'll be VERY surprised if this thing lasts a year or more with daily use. I hear creaking, cracking, and other weird noises with every use. Every time I do a bench press with more than 100lb I pray one of the cheap plastic pully circle things don't break and a cable snaps taking out an eyeball. There is 154lbs+ riding on a lot of little screws, plastic parts, and small welded pieces that can snap at any moment. Does it work as intended? So far, but I really wish I wasn't so cheap and bought a stronger, higher quality home gym - especially after spending 3 hours putting it together. Btw, the cables aren't labeled and are different lengths. DO NOT GUESS or you'll be taking everything apart and putting it back together like I did. Also, the thin aluminum covers for the sides to hide the weights were dented and bent right out of the package (and they were packaged well - so they must have been damaged at the factory. After all the crap I went through putting this thing together, I decided to just live with the dents. And the leg press plate for your feet is TINY - you're supposed to do leg presses with your feet shoulder width apart. That's not happening unless you have the should width of a 5 yr old. Im going to email the seller to see if they have an adult sized version because the leg press is useless as is. And my final complaint... The leg curls are 100% useless unless you are a child as well or maybe barefoot with short legs - I'm not a big person (5'9 165lb) and I cannot lift my feet to do the leg curls because there is not enough room from the floor (height is not adjustable). Hopefully this brutally honest review will help you decide if this is worth it or not. ... show more

  • 99 PERCENT SATISFIED
I GOT IT FAIRLY SOON. INSTRUCTIONS ARE EASY TO FOLLOW. I WAS MISSING MY ANKLE STRAP. YOU WILL NEEN TO BUY TWO 17MM WRENCH'S AND 19 MM WRENCH'S BECAUSE THE ONES THEY PROVIDE ARE THIN AND CHEAP. I'VE HAD A HARD TIME ADJUSTING THE PIN TO GO INTO THE HOLES IN THE WEIGHT STACK. THE WEIGHTS ARE MADE OF MOLDED CEMENT COVERED IN PLASTIC WHICH MAKES ALIGNING THE HOLES WITH THE LIFT BAR A CHALLENGE. IT WOULD BE NICE IF THEY USED METAL PLATES INSTEAD LIKE I HAVE ON A YOUKON CABLE MACHINE. OTHER THAN THAT YOU CAN GET A GOOD WORKOUT IF YOU USE YOUR IMAGINATION. I HAVE A HEAD HARNESS I USE ON THE PULLEY BEHIND THE BACKSEAT AND DOES A GOOD JOB FOR THE NECK MUSCLES. ALSO, I PURCHASED A BRACKET ON TEMU , IT LOOKS LIKE THE LETTER (Z) . IT FITS INTO THE BACKSIDE OF THE WEIGHT STACK UNDER THE LOCK DOWN NUT AND HAS A BAR TO HAD ONE INCH PLATES . THIS COMES IN HANDY FOR MOVING UP A COUPLE OF POUNDS AT A TIME INSTEAD OF THE 11 LB. PLATES IN THE STACK. ALSO, I HAVE ONE OF THOSE PULLUP AND DIP BELTS THAT I PUT AROUND MY UPPER BACK AND HOOK INTO THE PULLEY BEHIND THE BACKREST . FACE THE SEAT AND LEAN BACK TO REALLY HIT YOUR LOWER BACK. SO, USE YOUR IMAGINATION AND YOU CAN GET A FULL BODY WORKOUT. IN CASE YOU DIDN'T FIGURE IT OUT, IF YOU SIT FACING THE WEIGHT STACK AND PUT THE ARMS ALL THE WAY BACK, YOU CAN GRAB THE HANDLES AND SWING BACK PINCHING YOUR SHOULDER BLADES TOGETHER . THIS REALLY HITS YOUR REAR DELTS. I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU REACH YOUR HEALTH GOALS. SINCERELY MIKE WALKER . PERSONAL HEALTH TRAINER. IRON MIKES GYM. ... show more
