It's definitely a space saving simple ladder. When extended fully, you do need someone to hold from bottom to keep it steady. The scary part is when you retract. Remember the whole weight of extension above is coming down when you hit those release buttons! KEEP YOUR FINGERS AWAY OR IT WILL BE CRUSHED! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Great ladder that extends so you can make it a standalone or you can use it as a step ladder. This latter comes with instructions it comes with glove and it has screws to help you with the balance deem at the very bottom of the ladder. It also has wheels that you can attach to the bottom where you can then drag it along the grass area to bring down to your shed you don't have to carry it. Bought this to finish up a roof on our barn shed - the roof is about 10ft high and worked for that. This goes to 16ft and when fully extended to try to cut some tree branches this seemed way too flimsy and wobbly to actually climb. I have a need to carry a ladder between my home in Alabama and a place in Tennessee and that gets really a pain, especially when it gets cold since I have to hang a foot or 2 out the back. I saw that and thought it was perfect but I was concerned about it being flimsy since I am a bit over 200lbs. I should not have worried this thing is VERY sturdy and safe, the only thing you really need to be careful about is taking it back down and always be aware where your fingers since you can cause some damage to your hand if you don't take it down a step at a time.
