During the Covid epedemic, we were told to stay 6 feet apart. I kind of liked that distancing thing but everyone has seemed to forget about it. I now have my children wear this device when they go to school to ensure everyone maintains their distance. It doesn't keep everyone 6' away, but on average, it guarantees they will be about 2ft away, which is better than none. I noticed a lot of the other kids tease and laugh at my kids, which is a good thing because those ones stay much further away than 6 feet. So when you average the kids who are 2ft away and the ones that are 12 feet+ away, you come back with an average of 6ft distance; same as the covid days; which is what I was trying to achieve in the first place. I really like the built in tear catcher that wraps around my child's head. With all the kids making fun and bullying mine, it's nice to know that my kiddos tears will not soak their clothes. That would be bad on a cold day because it could make them feel cold and possibly even catch a cold. I know, I know, that thingy that wraps around the body is supposed to be for catching hair when you give a haircut (and by the way, it works great for haircuts too) but I really had much greater plans for this product and i am absolutely delighted with the results. ... show more

Does not drape over the should like in the picture. Does not cup like the picture. Neck area way to small for an adult male. Don't waste your time with this one! Very low thin quality and difficult to use due to deceiving dimensions...

Works very well but if your client/family member has a 16-1/2 in neck and broad shoulders, the neck won’t fasten and the cape won’t sit properly on the shoulders.

Looks fun with cartoon or striped patterns, but the cape isn’t stiff enough. It folds and flops instead of staying in place, so hair ends up everywhere. Quality feels thin, not sturdy. Cute idea, but it doesn’t work well for real haircuts.

I was a bit disappointed with how this worked in practice. The 4 toggles with the strap don’t really do anything—they don’t create the bowl shape as shown in the product photos. Instead, it stays flat, so whenever the child moves, the hair just falls right off instead of being caught. The concept is great, but the functionality didn’t match my expectations.
