This review is to update my previous review giving this wheelchair a 3 at the time. I'm upgrading my review to a 5 and would like to give my reasons as honestly as I can Like I acknowledged in my previous review, the wheelchair is very well built itself with very good design and a sturdy, well built titanium, very lightweight frame. The armrests fit under tables nicely. It is very easy to fold up and place in auto. The wheels are supposed to be easy to remove to place chair in tight places although I've never had occasion to do so. My problem arose from dealings with the parts department. I was assisting my wife in a small bathroom with limited space at the doctor's office and swung the footrest around without pulling the knob on the locking pin breaking it off. Really didn't hit it all that hard. I have done it inadvertently on the other side since without breakage making me wonder if broken one may have been defective in some way. When I contacted the parts department for a replacement, I was told I would have to replace the entire footrest for $40.00 plus $10.00 shipping which was ok with me if that's what it took. When I got new footrest, it wouldn't lock. I worked with it for some time. Figured I needed to adjust lower part (female) attached to frame which I could loosen and catch but when I tightened it back it wouldn't catch. By comparing the right and left footrest I noted a difference in the male portion of the locking pin (see pictures). Finally figured out I could unscrew this from knob (was very tight) and found locking pin on new footrest bent thereby making it shorter (see picture). I simply needed to replace this small pin that screws into the knob and in spite of texting these pictures and a few more, couldn't seem to communicate this simple request. I didn't feel I should have had to buy entire footrest since I only needed pin which surely could be purchased separately and told I could return it. Was shipped in Amazon bag which I threw away. Questioned this and told I needed origional packaging. Did not ask about restocking fee. I finally gave up trying to get part and secured footrest placing pin through holes (see picture). In the process of trying to make new footrest, I broke the plastic piece holding a washer on the back of the frame but just use a regular washer and tighten it every week or two. Like I mentioned, I love the basic wheelchair but was very unhappy with my experience getting parts. I received the locking pin and knob in the mail today. In my first review, I stated great, basic, sturdy wheelchair with plastic, easily breakable attachments. I love the wheelchair, itself and as long as I can get any needed parts I will be very happy with it.

The media could not be loaded. This wheelchair is relatively expensive, but worth every penny. It is so incredibly light (far less than half the weight of my other chairs) that I can use the wheelchair to get to my car, fold it up, pop the wheels off, put it in the passenger seat or even in the back seat and drive away. I no longer need a second person to handle my wheelchair. This chair has helped make me truly independent once again. I have not owned it long enough to attest to long-term durability, but it seems so well-made that I am very optimistic and believe it will serve me well for a very long time. The instructions are a bit inadequate, and it took a few minutes to figure out the foot rests and how they go on and off, but it’s actually pretty easy once you know how they work. Folds, easily, rolls, smoothly, one simple push of a button to remove the wheels, unbelievably light, and I could not possibly ask for a better wheelchair! I added a video to show how easy it is to take the wheels on and off.

So far, we are very pleased with this wheelchair. It comes assembled. All that you need to do is stick the seat pad on (Velcro) and attach the leg rests. It's very light and the quality seems great. Even though the seat is larger than our old wheelchair, the total width is smaller, making it easier to get into tight places. The arm rests are not removeable but fit under our table and desks. Finally, mobility is easier and it's easier to travel also.

We bought this for my mother in law when we went to Disneyland for a week. She can walk, but she 85 and prefers not to take a chance of getting knocked over. She said it was very comfortable, my wife pushed her the whole time and said it was a breeze to push. It fold up nice and small, the wheels come off easliy for transporting, and the design is great. I would give it 5 stars, but I'm 6'3" and it's a little too low for me to push. So, I think the handles should be a little higher.

This is exactly what I need for my daughter. It is very lightweight as advertised, compact, and easy to maneuver. She is very petite at 5’2” and needs a chair that she can easily lift into her car. We had a Drive Blue Streak with 24” wheels. However it is way too bulky, doesn’t fit in a car trunk, and she cannot lift it. The Feather is perfect. It is compact enough to easily fit into a vehicle without straining to lift it and can be lifted with one hand. I am so excited to find this wheel chair for my daughter. She is a young adult and has starting having mobility issues. She can only walk short distances, and has become unable to go out by herself because she could not get a chair in/out of the car by herself. I am working on a lift and other mobility aids but this will be a huge help until I get everything else in place for her. I also noticed that it is very easy to fold/unfold and the feet are easy to remove or attach as needed. I am so happy! This is my 3rd attempt at a wheelchair for her and I wish I had found this one sooner. The wheels are 22” compared to 20” for the other lightweight chair I tried for her. The additional 2” makes a big difference in maneuvering for a short person and it is still more lightweight than the smaller chair I am returning. The Feather is the most expensive one I have bought but I am certain it will be worth the extra money.

We purchased this lightweight wheelchair since my wife recently fell and broke her hip. The wheelchair had an issue with one of the brakes and the company sent a new one immediately to us. We really like the excellent chair since it is comfortable and easy to use. The Seller has been been great to deal with and also paid for us to return the first wheelchair to them. We highly recommend them due to their excellent and quick help!
