The media could not be loaded. It comes disassembled, and you will have to do some work to put it together. But the instructions are very easy to follow. It's the perfect size and can fit into a small nook, but large enough to accommodate 2 full size cats. It's heavy enough so it doesn't need to be secured into the wall, but you can if you want too. It's been months since I got this, and I still love it! The only thing is that hanging rope on the bottom has become unraveled due to my cats playing with it. I wish it came with replacements. But overall this is a great buy for durability, design, ease of construction, and reasonable price. ... show more

If you have full grown cats I reeeeaaaallly suggest this tree. It was pretty easy to put together by myself too. My cats love it. It’s big and sturdy and can easily support their weight.

This cat tree is great. We were looking for something that would have adequate room for 4 cats, and enough height to be safely away from the dog. This delivers on all counts. It seems durable and well built. The color fits nicely with our living room decor. The assembly instructions were easy to follow, no extra tools were needed, and the entire process took less than an hour. Before I’d even finished assembly, one of my cats that is notorious for scratching the furniture was already scratching at the attached posts. Within hours, all four of my cats had made their way onto the tree at one point or another, and they seem to enjoy the highest perches — making the height of this thing worthwhile. The only negative, if you could call it that, is that it really is tall and pretty big. So I had to rearrange some wall decor to find a good place for it up against a wall. It comes with hardware to attach it to the wall, but it didn’t seem necessary to me. It’s plenty stable for my 9-14lb cats. ... show more

It's very easy to put together. I think it took me about an hour to assemble. It feels pretty sturdy, though it does shake just a bit. My cat, Reno, does seem to like it, though I had to trick him to get him to climb up it. It seemed to intimidate him at first and highest platform still does, but he's only had it for a week. I was concerned that he wouldn't use it be cause he ignored it for the first couple days. Then I started putting his toy mice on it. He plays with those things all day long. When he couldn't find one to play with, he started trying to figure out how to climb up to get one down. It took him about a day to get up the courage to climb half-way up for the first mouse. After losing it under the closet door, he started calculating how to get to the next one up. After three or four days, I found all of them laying on floor at the foot of the bed, even the ones on the very top. Now, he climbs up it without an issue, but he still won't lay in the top bed. He's okay on the second from the top though. I'm sure he'll eventually get up there to sleep. ... show more

Make sure to air this out for a day or two. Take everything out and let it air out. I was unfortunately unable to air this out or escape from the smell. Even so the cats did not mind the smell one bit, so I don't think there was anything harmful to them or me. Got a headache and hated the smell for a few days though but the cats could not stay off it. It was very easy to assemble and very clear picture instructions if you don't like to read. It is very tall and it is well made. The beds are square and have the box feel cats love so much. My cats don't hang out in the little cubbies at all but love the square beds. They love to run and jump on it, sleep and judge me from their high up beds. It is very tall and is made of better material than other cat trees of purched for way more than what I paid for this. Also for the first time ever the cats didn't care for the box it came in. The box also can be turned into a cat home. It has dotted lines on where to cut and tape. Great idea for the use of the box but my cats love to tear cardboard so was unable to give the box another use. Very thoughtful though. Would buy again as gift. ... show more

I got a small cat tree a few years ago with the circular hammock and the bumpers on the platforms. My cats adore both features and I have since gotten more trees with these features.This one took about an hour to put together. Most of that was because I messed up what went into what hole. I also flipped the center level around a bit due to where I fit it. I am replacing a five year old tree where they have clawed off all of the rope and started working into the cardboard under it. Cons: All of these trees are top heavy. They stand really well but they are tall on a somewhat small base. They will come loose over time. You need to retighten them regularly. This is not hard but it is something that you will need to do. They are cheap. The houses are fabric walls. My cats are firm believers in fighting these walls and tend to rip holes on them. Pro: Cheap. Tons of options to fit your cats needs. Sturdy. Reasonably long lasting for the cost. Easy to assemble. ... show more
