Formal Complaint – Severe Quality Degradation of 12-Inch King Memory Foam Mattress Purchased on Amazon Hello, I am writing to formally complain about a 12-inch King Size memory foam mattress that I purchased through Amazon on March 20, 2025. Unfortunately, after a very short period of normal use, the mattress has suffered serious quality deterioration and has completely lost its original condition and functionality. The issues I am experiencing include: - Significant loss of thickness and volume, no longer maintaining its original 12-inch height - Collapsed and empty edges, leaving gaps around the bed and preventing proper support across the surface - Noticeable lumps and uneven bulging in multiple areas of the mattress - Severe loss of comfort and support, making it uncomfortable and unsuitable for proper sleep Given that this product was advertised as a quality memory foam mattress, it is reasonable to expect it to retain its shape, structure, and support for a reasonable amount of time. The rapid deterioration described above clearly indicates a manufacturing or material defect. I have attached clear photos of the mattress with this message to document the loss of shape, edge collapse, and uneven surface. Due to my complete dissatisfaction with this product and its failure to meet the advertised standards, I am requesting a full refund of the purchase price. If this matter is not addressed appropriately, I will have no choice but to share my experience publicly by submitting a negative review on Amazon to inform other customers. Our mattress was getting on in years, and my husband and I didn't want to buy a new one because of a recent surgery and it's associated costs. We decided to 'settle' for a 'cheap mattress' to tide us over for a little while so we could save up for one of the 'better' and more expensive ones.... Wow, were we completely wrong! There's no need at all to spend close to if not more than $1k on a mattress. This one is like sleeping on a firm cloud. The top layer of foam is softer and cushions you just right, and the base foam is much firmer and gives the support your body needs to stay comfortable. When you combine the two, you get a mattress that is amazingly comfortable that you won't want to get out of. Granted, the box was about 80-85lbs, but my husband was able to get it upstairs by himself, though he admitted it would have been easier with a helping hand. Unboxing wasn't too difficult, as we have the space, so we rolled it out and carefully slit the plastic that vacuum seals it down to a few inches thick and let it expand for a little over 24 hours. The instructions state that you should wait 3 days, but no one has the time or space to let a mattress lay on the floor that long. It wasn't needed. Once you stop seeing wrinkles in the cover, you're good to go. We tossed the old one, and put on fresh sheets and were treated to our best nights sleep in quite a while. Our old mattress was a tulo queen size and we paid 3x as much for it years ago. There is no comparison, this new mattress beats it hands down. I recommend turning it every couple of weeks, as it keeps your mattress nice and firm, though I don't know about flipping it... that would put that super soft top layer on the bottom and would kind of defeat the point of even having it. It's been a couple of weeks now, and we have slept super well every night. As the title states, don't hesitate and buy it. You can't beat this kind of comfort for such a low price. My only regret is that we didn't just get the king size mattress! ... show more

I bought it specifically because it was 12 inches and I wanted it to fill the space between where the previous mattress and the headboard had a gap. I weigh about 3 stacks. My husband weighs 2 stacks. I use this mattress more than him. I sleep on it for hours and it always puffs back up. I wish it were softer but hey the fact that it puffs back up every time makes me happy. The price is good. The bed is huge. This is my first king size bed. If you're on a serious budget and like your bed to be firm I recommend this mattress. I do not get hot in this matress. I sleep better than I did in my old spring mattress. It has relieved the back pain tremendously. Those spring mattresses are terrible! Anyway, it expanded fully. I let it expand for 3 days before I used it. The kids were dying to jump on it.
