This combo coffee pot is a great convenience. Pros It has a huge water reservoir, so you don't have to fill it daily. Don't really do 2oz of coffee so haven't really had a problem with not finding a cup to fit the upper placement of the cup. Cons Haven't decided whether the flavor is because of the pot or the pods themselves. The pot drips once done, but this is a minor inconvenience. We were not coffee drinkers, but the baby decided we would be converting. Wife found a coffee combination she could handle and I realized I was an espresso person. We didn't want 2 different machines taking up counter space that was no longer owned by us lol. This machine was the perfect solution.     • Just three months old and it has already stopped working
In the last couple of days, the machine made an unusual noise when it brewed. Then this morning it won’t move water through at all. Then the lights flash like it does when the water tank is empty. I tried to go through the Contact Seller option, but there are only preset responses and no way to let them know the problem. So disappointing. ... show more

I bought this specifically because of its versatility. I sometimes use espresso pods or k-cups. I do wish we could regulate the water temperature. I am a slow coffee drinker, and my cup doesn’t stay hot for very long. It’s okay as far as these machines go, but if you are a coffee connoisseur you wouldn’t be using these machines lol. Full disclosure: I manage a coffee shop and drink some of the best coffee on the planet. So, sometimes I don’t want to make coffee at home. Sometimes I’m in a hurry. Don’t judge me! You’re reading this review! I love Insta brands and had my eyes on this. I finally pulled the trigger and am so stoked I did. The keurig is amazing. Several settings, etc. but I also love me some espresso. You’ll have to find see you prefer of course, but the nespresso portion makes life incredibly delectable. I cannot more highly recommend a machine in your house if you want a simple kcup or nespresso option. This thing rocks! ... show more

    • It works good, but it's a little fiddly
This does what it's supposed to...it's a 2 in 1 coffeemaker and if you're looking for something to brew the K cups and the nespresso pods all in 1 machine, well I think this is it. However, just be aware that the nespresso pods require a bit of finessing or fiddling with to get them into the correct position to work; they will work though and you'll get good espresso once you figure it out. I went through a few pods before I figured out exactly how to place them and get them to work correctly. Every now and then, I'll get a pod that doesn't get punctured just right and have to redo it. I think I read another review that this machine works better with a different brand espresso pod; I cannot confirm as I've only used the Nespresso brand pods. If you don't mind a little learning curve and little bit of finessing on the espresso pods, this machine otherwise is pretty solid. ... show more

Elixir of life - or something like that. I had a really cute little single serving coffee maker that broke way too soon. I've been thinking I wanted to try a K cup type and so bought this one. I had a bit of a learning curve since reading instructions is not my forte; once I learned that instructions are my friend, I had much more success in brewing a perfect cup of coffee.     • A feat of engineering, a terrible executed espresso machine.
Espresso shots are made in single ounce serves. The lowest setting for the nespresso pod espresso delivery is 2 ounces and the spigot do not serve 2 separate cups. Obviously not a design by an espresso drinker. The lid must open all the way unimpeded to take in the nespresso pod all the way or the pod will be crushed misaligned and not inject the hot pressurized water properly into the coffee in the pod and the deformed pod defeat the pressure that extracts the coffee in the espresso style. Keuhrig pod side starts at 8 ounces when the common cup that comes with a set of dishes for the home holds 4 ounces. In a restaurant setting the cups are large 8 ounce servings to appear generous. To the American big is better mentality, lacking in refined taste and flavorful culture, this a great coffee making machine. It is not, it is a clever, clutter busting design that conveniently fits homes with a multi choice preference for drinking coffee. It would be better to lower the capacity setting to household parameters as a baseline for those looking for a flavorful experience and then provide the higher capacity for the mug and supersize caffeine addicts that also want a machine capable of a change of pace. Steep learning curve is the cause for most negative comments from people not prone to read user manuals or instructions. Otherwise a great machine well priced. ... show more
