I was surprised at the weight of these chocks, so much so that I thought they may not work. But then I realized I didn't want a lightweight chock under my wheels. I had that previously and ran right over them. These are very durable and angled to prevent any chance you're rolling over them. They're made very well and solid. I like them so much that I bought another set. I highly recommend them for their function and price. You can't go wrong.

I’m not sure if there are better chocks on the market for our newly purchased Class C motorhome. All I know is these two things. First, after much research, youtube watching, and customer review reading, I knew to keep away from plastic chocks at all costs and invest in rubber. Second, these chocks keep the motorhome in place, and isn’t that why we purchase them? I am not that guy who will purposefully attempt to drive over the chocks to see if it can be done. That’s for someone else. All I can say is these chocks have girth, and they work. (I gave “lightweight” two stars because it’s not light. Trust me, you don’t want light.)

these puppies are heavy duty, not light weight plastic but dense molded rubber. Spot on, strong and up to the job of holding back some beef, also the photo has these upside down, btw. For those who complain of the smell, its normal for rubber to have an odor. Compounding rubber is like baking a cake for the most part, each compound has a closely followed recipe with, many chemicals are added to the raw rubber (or cake as its called). These things add lubricity so the rubber can be mixed in a calendar, or add strength to the final product (like carbon black), or help with oxidation protection, and last but not least; a curing agent that speeds and assists in the vulcanization process that produces the final product. Long story to say that this process produces a chemical odor in the molded part, it will go away with time generally speaking. But its just not that bad anyway. Actually to me it smells like money since I have been involved in the rubber products business. I like these chocks they are heavy at several pounds apiece, better than others I have bought for sure.

They work but make sure if you’re on a down hill, to hit these with a hammer so they can be super snug to the tire or else it’ll move. My boat trailer coupler hit my truck (it’s plastic but still).
