Ok so I read a lot of the reviews here and ordered 2 sizes to pick one, and here are my thoughts: - I wore this on 17-26F days (-8celcius) with a thin polyester thermal, thick polyester sweater, thick scarf, beanie, lined leggings and lined shoes... And I felt warm and cosy. It's wonderful to know that you can achieve this warmth and style all while being cruelty free. - contrary to the other reviews here, I think the zip is ok. Sure you can get sturdy and gliding zips out there but this is not a $500 Northface jacket. The zip works fine, glides on and off easily enough. - the design is really cute. I love the sinched waist, general shape of the jacket and the hood for cold blasting winds. Definately prevents the garbage bag look of winter jackets. The navy shade is very nice and I like the feel of the canvas and colour of the brown lining. It doesn't look cheap. Looked better when I zipped off the fur edging on the good. This will be my winter jacket staple now and it ticks off style and warmth. I prefer this over my Northface puffer jacket which wind rips through and has a shapeless form. - the canvas is great for blocking high winds. I prefer this to a down jacket for this reason. The very thick lining inside (doesn't line the arms but the arms have very thick warm canvas outer and polyester lining padding) is fantastic and why I bought this jacket. It's blanket cosyness. Going outside in a windy and freezing winter no longer feels stressful 😊 - Comments here about pockets. That I agree with. Some angled, deep, easy access and fur lined pockets for hands would make this a years long favourite. The current unlined and box pockets will suffice- they can hold hands and phone, but it marks the difference between a good jacket and amazing jacket. - dropping the waistline by two inches and lengthening it slightly- have read this as feedback here and also agree. Again marks the difference between good and amazing. Dropping the waistline and lengthening this coat by 2inches would be ideal. Still looks cute. - arms: arms are on the shorter side so I take my gloves with me. Fit: I'm 5"4 and 120 pounds. With all my layers I mentioned above, I still chose the small. I get cold easily and like to layer thick and the small still manages to fit it all.. these jackets can accommodate.. I didn't need to size up. The medium had longer and wider arms but the shoulder and chest area felt too boxy and I looked kinda short and stout, so for my proportions the small looked better. The medium had a looser more relaxed fit but I didn't like how boxy the chest and shoulders looked. That said, if you are bustier, I'd size up, with all my thick layers, it's a little tight in the chest area. -if the hood had a drawstring to secure around the head it would also take it to excellent level. Currently, it's ok, I'd still wear it with a beanie because the loose hood slides off the head. If there was a higher end version of this, I'd happily pay more for the jacket with all the improvements suggested that I could wear for years, then it would be a 10/10 favourite and my search for the perfect winter jacket would be over. Its five stars for the price and it's still better than other parkas, but I hope somebody makes a higher end version of this 😉 ... show more

I was hesitant because I don't usually buy winter coats online, but I am glad I did! Love the coat, warm lining, lots of pockets and elastic draw string for perfect fit! True to size. I love the hunter green color, as I traditionally buy black. Would definitely recommend!

I bought my previous coat from Costco for $40 and it lasted me 6 years. It was very similar to this coat, which is why I bought this one. As with other reviews that I have read about this coat, the zipper is not top quality, certainly not for an $80 coat. It is very warm, and very comfortable. I agree with other reviews about the pockets, they should've been side entry pockets instead of top entry. I also agree that the sleeves are a little short but I'm okay with it as my gloves have long cuffs. Overall, I think I will return this coat and buy a different one from Costco. ... show more

I ordered this coat in navy blue. It's a very attractive coat with silver accents that pop against the navy blue. The fur lining and fur trim on the hood adds to it's attractiveness. Very nice, warm, comfy coat. The zippers are metal and made well. The only things this coat is missing is a drawstring on the hood and slash pockets, but neither is a deal breaker. Since I'm moving back to a sometimes very wintery state and need a good winter coat ( got rid of all my winter stuff to move to Florida 4 years ago.) I thought this was a really nice looking coat. Well...IT IS !!! So soft and well made, perfect fit (YAY!) too ladies. It's got that super soft fur lining that will definately keep the chill away. You would easily pay twice as much elsewhere. The hood is large and has that fluffy fur trim around it and will keep your ears and head super protected and warm. I highly recommend this winter coat, it is also true to size! ... show more

Zipper doesn’t work properly at all. It’s nearly impossible to zip up properly when the coat is on. For how insanely expensive this coat is compared to others, the quality is severely lacking
