This piece is certainly beautiful and provides extra storage that we really appreciate in a bedroom that's a bit small for a king sized bed. It feels sturdy. It's extraordinary heavy, roughly 250# between the two boxes. I would encourage you to keep the directions because if you need to move one day it will be tricky to figure out how to remove the headboard from the body of the bed frame. The real questions you have, "Was it hard to put together?" and "How long will it take?". I am not gifted at reading schematic directions. I enlisted the help of a friend who is a master Lego builder. She knows what she's looking at and has a real knack for it. Together we worked diligently for 5 hours, no breaks. She had to go home. It took me another 4 hours alone. So 9 hours total. It was a lot, but it was pretty straightforward. Left to my own devices there were only two directions I couldn't interpret by studying the design and I really think that was a "me problem". I gauge furniture assembly by how many times I cuss the intensity of my language choice. I only cussed a couple times and nothing truly colorful ;)

I almost didn't buy this bed because of the reviews. I must say with 2 people putting it together and going at a slow pace, it took us 8 hours & me with just a stubby philipshead screwdriver. I was most worried about putting in the slats, but that was probably the easiest & quickest part of the build! Ordered a king size bed and it fits our mattress perfectly. I wish it were a little bit taller, but it still fits the room great. After our first night sleeping on it, its been the best sleep we have had in years, but that could also be in part to the mattress, but there were no creaks or noises throughout the night so its definitely sturdy enough for two adults. I love that the drawers are on tracks and not on the floor like most other storage beds. I'm yet to fill them in, but I'm sure they will hold sets of sheets without issues. I also like the compartments, there is a back to them so its not like you can get into the middle of the bed. I did have one piece, one of the top cabinets, come in with a little bit of the color scratched off, but the seller was very quick to respond and provided a credit for it and sent a link for a kit I can use to color it in so it will blend better and be less obvious. We ordered a few different pieces of furniture from Amazon that we had to put together and this one by far was the BEST in terms of instructions and including additional pieces in the event they are needed. The light brown color looks great in person. The charging function works perfect too. We didn't bother gluing in any of the dowels either, we just made sure they were snug as some were a little thinner than others, but having the extra pieces made that a non issue.

This is a good purchase. Good size, comfortable, durable, plenty of storage, functional, and sleek. No missing parts either is a big plus. However, putting this together was aids. Other than bursts of frustration and misery it’s all been made up for it with countless hours of good sleep and reliability.

Beautiful bed and OK/GOOD materials. BUT Its a massive massive JOB to put it together. Im a handy man with all the tools and worked as organized and clean as I could in a huge house with a helper. it took us exactly 10-13 hours to put it together! NOT JOKING. So listen to the other reviews. it's just not really worth so many parts I dont understand why so many parts its a giant puzzle. It's a mess im sorry, I would never buy this again. Easier to buy one that sets up fast modern style. ALSO the light didn't work! it flickered like crazy no matter how we adjusted the cheap weird wires! that's a huge fire hazard so no! instead of bothering with replacement we just removed the light all together for safety! Too much hassle for what you get. On the plus side my mother in law LOVES IT. So that's the only thing that made it worth it. If you have the time and wanna be moving fast it's till gonna take you hours on end. just too much. And some instructions towards the end with the cubbys and drawers were kinda backwards, it made you do things before other steps and the later steps were needed before the ones they stated to do first. So CHECK and PLAN first.

This King Size Bed Frame is a beast. It’s super sturdy and feels of decent quality wood. It’s BIG, the bed frame holds the mattress higher above the ground with drawers underneath for storage. I like the quality of the materials used and had no issues with building it. I say it’s a beast because it took me (by my self) around 8 hours to build (And I build Air plains for a living). It says not to use power tools, but if you’re handy it definitely makes the process go faster. It’s pretty straightforward to build with everything properly labeled and easy to read. The instructions are like 60 steps, with multiple steps in those steps. So be prepared to make it an all day event. I feel like I sleep better now being higher off the ground then when my mattress was on the floor. Altogether it’s a great bed set and has many nice amenities like the lighting and power outlet.

The bed is gorgeous and is so study. Love that there are 4 drawers and 4 cubby spots on the sides,has 2 cabnets that are like hidden compartments on the head board , makes for quick easy storage. The price was good for the quality of the bed frame. It is easy to assemble BUT it did take hours to put together bc there are a lot of pieces that go into this frame making it sturdy, so it's best to put it together on a weekend or when you have time to put into it. Performance is so good it is so sturdy and I have two teens you just jump and plop down on my bed and it has held up and doesn't make and noises when getting into and out of bed. The LEDs make for a good nightlight and just set a relaxing tone to the room when you just need to whine down for the day or just want to relax and read. Took us about 4 hours to get it together but that's a small thing to worry about for such a amazing bed.
