The bed is gorgeous and is so study. Love that there are 4 drawers and 4 cubby spots on the sides,has 2 cabnets that are like hidden compartments on the head board , makes for quick easy storage. The price was good for the quality of the bed frame. It is easy to assemble BUT it did take hours to put together bc there are a lot of pieces that go into this frame making it sturdy, so it's best to put it together on a weekend or when you have time to put into it. Performance is so good it is so sturdy and I have two teens you just jump and plop down on my bed and it has held up and doesn't make and noises when getting into and out of bed. The LEDs make for a good nightlight and just set a relaxing tone to the room when you just need to whine down for the day or just want to relax and read. Took us about 4 hours to get it together but that's a small thing to worry about for such a amazing bed.

We have had this for close to 6 months now and we are super happy with it. We wanted something with a lot of storage, that was sturdy, and looked good. This checks all the boxes. Very sturdy, is a decent height, it doesn't feel like you are on the ground. Its definitely heavy, comes in 2 boxes and will probably come on 2 different days, and you'll likely need help to move the boxes to wherever you are going to unpack, but if it wasn't heavy it wouldn't be solid. That being said, I did carry the boxes myself into the bedroom and assembled it all myself. It would be much quicker and easier with some help but its not required. Including unboxing and sorting all the parts and making sure everything was there before I started, it took me 7 hours to assemble this by myself with hand tools and a cordless drill/driver. I have assembled a lot of furniture in the past and the instructions with this were probably above average, as long as you pay attention to the pictures its pretty straightforward. One corner of the biggest piece (the bottom part of the headboard) was damaged slightly in shipping, it is covered by the mattress when its all assembled so it wasn't a big enough concern to warrant replacement or anything like that. Probably nobody else will ever see it but I know its there. The boxes are pretty large and heavy, so this being the biggest piece its not very protected on the corners. I imagine damage to that piece is pretty common. Overall very happy with this purchase!

We have had this bed frame for a few months this now. I love how sturdy it is and the amount of storage it has. The doors that open on the headboard are a bit of a hassle to get to unless you move all of the pillows, so we dont use those all that much. The drawers underneath glide very smoothly. It came in 2 boxes that were so heavy, FedEx just pushed them out of the truck and let the boxes fall onto our yard. The top board of the headboard came damaged on top (but the pieces were well packaged so I doubt the FedEx mishandling caused this). The remote for the lights also stopped working within 2 minutes of plugging in the lights. (We turned the lights off and then back on and the remote stopped working and has not functioned since) so now the lights are just not even plugged in anymore (the lights do take up one of the available plug ins advertised.) It also took forever to put together. I think it was about 6 or 7 hours with both my husband and I working on it. Thats way too long to build a bed frame. Overall, it's a nice frame but has it's flaws. Next time I will probably just go someone like Ashley and get that is already built and would fixed if pieces didnt work as they should.

This piece is certainly beautiful and provides extra storage that we really appreciate in a bedroom that's a bit small for a king sized bed. It feels sturdy. It's extraordinary heavy, roughly 250# between the two boxes. I would encourage you to keep the directions because if you need to move one day it will be tricky to figure out how to remove the headboard from the body of the bed frame. The real questions you have, "Was it hard to put together?" and "How long will it take?". I am not gifted at reading schematic directions. I enlisted the help of a friend who is a master Lego builder. She knows what she's looking at and has a real knack for it. Together we worked diligently for 5 hours, no breaks. She had to go home. It took me another 4 hours alone. So 9 hours total. It was a lot, but it was pretty straightforward. Left to my own devices there were only two directions I couldn't interpret by studying the design and I really think that was a "me problem". I gauge furniture assembly by how many times I cuss the intensity of my language choice. I only cussed a couple times and nothing truly colorful ;)
