I bought this bed as I love the rustic look with small storage. Building the headboard and footboard were difficult. The reason for difficulty is because the instructions are awful, completely awful. They are just pictures. The wood and black pieces are numbered while the tools and parts are lettered and then you go from there. The wood was fine, understandable but the black pieces should have had some sort of orientation on which way to place against the wood for the headboard and footboard. We had them flip flopped backwards and made do by drilling our own holes to attach to the sides of the bed. Also, the storage are not drawers. They are basically baskets with wheels and a face cover. Once the bed is together, it’s quiet and sturdy. I did first put my box spring and then my mattress and it was way too high and looked ridiculous. So we removed the box springs and used mattress only and so far so good. All in all I am happy with my purchase, again it’s the instructions that were lame! I just bought the side tables because the appearance of the wood is beautiful and exactly what I was looking for without breaking the bank. Last suggestion, it will take you a week if you only manually use the little tool they give you. My boyfriend cut the tool given, and used it with a drill and then I used another tool to manually tighten the screws! We had this bed together about 6 hours but had to do a “do over” on some of the steps.

Phenomenal!! I could not be happier! I have put together countless pieces of furniture and bookshelves, that I have bought online. I know that nothing is good as real wood. I have had good pieces that are super easily scratched, jiggly, or just completely fall apart and break because the lack of quality. I am also just one of those wierdos that loves to put things together. I bought this and the 2 matching side tables/ dressers for a guest room. I felt like it was alot of money for cheap crap that probably won't last too long. But it's for when guests come to visit. Meaning it will hardly be used. 🤷♀️ But no.... it's really quality for not being solid wood. Doesn't scratch easily. Looks super cute. I feel like it is going to last a ling time, and that I definitely got my monies worth. Putting it together also letme know the quality. Every single hole and piece aligned perfectly. The instructions were clear as day. It does take a long time. But not because it is difficult or you need help. It is because there are so many pieces and parts. Which is a good thing. It showed the quality. Each large component of the furniture had lots of small parts to put together to make that component, before you put those components together to make the bad and side tables. It just showed the sturdiness these pieces of furniture will have for years to come. Oh and the color/ finish is just like in the picture. The seller shipped immediately. And it's very well priced!? Buy it, you won't be disappointed! I will post a pic soon. I just need to buy some pillows. I am honestly feeling like this looks better than my own bedroom right now and am jealous.
