I know this unit is not a high dollar detector. However, it worked surprisingly well. It is very sensitive so taking the dial all the way up will sometimes give you false readings. Turn the dial back to 5 and it works great.

Don't pin the nozzle flat against things or it returns false positive. Hold couple mm away from test area and works excellent.

I had a freon leak coming from my evaporator. I stuck the leak detector in the vent and it started beeping fast right away. Very happy with product.

This is very sensitive but also seems to work well. On higher sensitivity, it can alarm just moving quickly through the air in a closed room (just for testing), so I never went over sensitivity "6" when using it for real.
