It’s also lightweight, which I really appreciate because I don’t want something heavy pulling on my arms when I’m trying to get ready quickly. It heats up fast, which is perfect for my routine, and I started on a lower setting since my hair is on the finer side. What surprised me most is how much volume it gives right at the roots. Even on days when my hair feels a little flat or my waves aren’t cooperating, this helps lift everything up and makes my hair look fuller and more styled without needing extra products. The 1/2 inch barrels create really pretty, defined mermaid waves. Once I figured out the right sections and angle, it became pretty easy to use and actually kind of fun. If you are going for wavy rather than curly in you hair style, this is a good option. It heats quickly and does a good job on my medium length fine hair. It might be too small for practical for someone with long or very thick hair. It is a good size for me though, and is small enough to be easy to pack if you want to take it traveling. Overall, I really like this hair waver. It gives my hair body and textured that I really like.

This is a very small mini waver ... a perfect styling tool to pack for travel. For me it works just as well as some of the larger ones. My hair is straight and fine and doesn't take to curling very well. I find a waver is the easiest tool to use. Anyone can do it, it's almost foolproof and great for a beginner. There are 3 easy to read settings and depending on how high you set the temperature & how long you hold it ... you can get tighter defined waves or looser beachy waves. I don't like the crimped look but because my curls/waves don't usually hold up, I set it so it's defined at first and then I brush it out a bit so it's just the way I like it. It adds volume as well as waviness. I think this would work equally well on long or short hair It has dual voltage, a long swivel cord, it heats up very quickly & gets very hot. It also has a stand so it won't sit directly on the counter. It comes with a thin pouch to keep it in. Farery is a good brand and I think this works as well as any similar waver and has the added bonus of being very portable. The current price at the time of this review is $29.99 discounted to $22.49. Definitely worth it, recommended.

I’ve really gotten into crimping lately, and this little waver has become one of my favorite tools. It heats up fast and gets hot enough to hold a style without me standing there forever. You just clamp it, move to the next piece, and keep going. I don’t have to leave it on my hair long, so I’m not worried about damage. The waves come out soft and beachy, like natural ocean waves. It gives my hair volume and texture without me doing much at all. It feels sturdy, it works well, and it is very easy to use. It also comes with a carrying bag, which I love because it is small and perfect for travel. I go down the shore a lot in the summer here in New Jersey, and this fits right in my overnight bag without taking up space. It is definitely coming with me every time.
