After little bit of a run around to find customer service on Farberware knives, I submitted a claim on the website to replace the block. No questions asked (I did send them the photo) they said they would send me a new one in 3-5 business days. To my surprise, they sent a whole new knife set with the block and told us NOT to return the defective one. Love my new knife set. Thanks Farberware! Resolved issue: I was very excited to get my new knife set, but the steak knives don’t all fit in the knife block! One of the slots was difficult, but the knife did go in. The one on the end was hopeless. I went to the Farberware site to request support, but they don’t support cutlery. Instead they route you to another company. I will have to wait and see where this goes next… ... show more

We like the fact that these knives are inexpensive and they cut very well, however we are quite disappointed with the advertising of "stainless steel". These are not stainless steel and should not be advertised as such. One knife is already forming a rust spot. I work with metals and understand these knives to be aluminum. ... show more

These are the best set of knives I've ever owned and believe me when I say I've had many!! Be careful because the sharpness is beyond what you generally experience just because of the newness of blades in other products. These knives cut meats flawlessly no matter what the thickness are.
