I bought this fan to mount on the wall in my garage. I couldn't figure out how to put it in a tilt position. Loosing the bolt via LG Phillips screwdriver that held the bottom to the fan didn't work. I would pull the fan down in a tilt position and re-tighten bolt.As soon as I let go the fan would return to verticle position as if it were spring loaded. I'm now thinking that one of the buttons on the fan would lower / tilt the fan ?? There were absolutely no instructions on fan tilt and the 1 page instructions left a lot to be desired. I returned the fan after wasting a lot of time trying to figure it out. Also a Chat session was useless. ... show more

I decided to buy this fan, even after reading the reviews about the tilt not working. I put the fan together seems to be good working parts, the fan puts out a good deal of air (inside on my bedroom wall). I found the tilt on this fan only works while it is on and stays put, even when turned off the tilt remains. It will not work if the fan is off, and it has nothing to do with the screw on the side. Fan works well. Blades seem ... cheap. Like the brittle plastic and not the flexible abs that im used to. Im sure it will do the job. The only problem I have is I can't figure out how/if you can change the thermometer to Farenheit from Celsius. Ive tried everything the net has mentioned with no success. It is a fan, not much more to say. The LED display is very bright in a dark room and cannot be set to a lower brightness. I have placed a piece of painters tape over the display to block to light. Also, it only displays in Centigrade, too bad my Fahrenheit friends. The included remote is convenient

Nice quiet fan doesn’t put out as much as I like, but I am using it outside like they say not to, but it works really well out here. The only problem I have is the ring that holds the two fan shields together is almost impossible to put on especially with one person so I just use a zip ties seems to work just fine.
